I'm new-ish to the east coast (hence the screen name). I'm a high school teacher who grew up in California (near Berkeley) and went to college in Portland, OR (so I'm well versed in the hipster scene/ drink PBR un-ironically). I'm hoping to meet new people and explore Providence.

I graduated from a liberal arts college with a degree in econ- my senior thesis was about trees and public education. Now I'm teaching high school (sped) math, coaching the school softball team, and going to school to get my masters in Urban Education Policy.

I enjoy conversing, reading, beer drinking, hiking/ camping, playing and watching sports, and destroying others at board games.
