Oh, hi there!

So I suppose this is my big intro, where I really sell my dateability, sum up all of my shimmering attributes for the tl:dr set. Well, I'm not going to do that. This is not a resume, and I'm not going to treat is as such. Read on, if something piques your interest, then message me! Dating websites can be so cold and clinical, and I'm not going to give everything away. I'd like to leave a few topics of conversation if we ever meet!

I didn't finish university. I completed first year, did well, but it just wasn't for me, and I went right into working full time. I just finished a small business management course, finally taking steps towards fulfilling my dream of opening my own store some day. For the last several years, I've been working at a big box retail store, most recently doing kitchen design. It's retail, yes, but on the more creative side, certainly more challenging than most jobs in this sector. I love to be creative, drawing, painting, redecorating, sewing. I own power tools, and I know how to use them.

Folding laundry. I catch people at the laundromat staring at me as I fold a fitted sheet into a perfect square. It's a handy skill.

My height. No, that's not a typo. I am 6 feet tall. And yes, I do prefer men that are my height or taller. I like wearing heels, and I'm not down with the Tom Cruise thing.

I did a brief stint as a DJ a few years back, so I love music, literally every genre to one degree or another. I am rarely without a book and I am even a member of a book club, which sounds insanely nerdy, I know, but it's a lot of fun. I read a little of everything; some of my favourites include The Grapes of Wrath, Lolita, Perks of Being a Wallflower, and In Cold Blood. I love a good documentary, drama or thriller, but I can't resist a cheesy teen movie. That being said, I can proudly say I was thrown out of a Twilight movie for heckling too loudly.
