What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
workin' my butt off, trying to do dreams: start own business, travel more (Spain!), joining the tiny house movement, become famous small-town musician.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Cooking (psst! I do it for a living!). Sports. Playing guitar. Being a good friend. Listening to music. Cribbage. The Monday crossword.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I never seek out any people's thoughts on this... That would be weird, right? Yes.

Yes! I can answer this one!

books: Anything by Jonathan Lethem, Patrick Mcmanus, Gary Shteyngart, Kerouac, Raymond Carver, David Sedaris, Sherman Alexie. Cookbooks: I've been reading a shit-ton of them lately- Too many to actually list. Subjects include fermentation, charcuterie, Latin Cuisine, Veggie cookin', Wild game etc. etc. I love alternative newspapers and the little booklets that come with CD's and records.

Movies: O Brother Where art thou? or any other Coen bros. movie. True Romance, Sideways, Tombstone, Lonesome Dove, zombie movies, Lost in translation, Groundhog's Day (probably my favorite), Fifth Element, Anything with Clint Eastwood or John Wayne. Nicholas Cage movies (don't judge). Anything with Gary Oldman, Danny Day Louie. Documentaries: Animal docs featuring David Attenborough, The Last Waltz, 20 feet from stardom

T.V.: Homeland, Deadwood, Top Chef, Sherlock, Family Matters, Married with children, HIMYM, Friends, Arrested Developement, Firefly, Parks & Rec, It's Always Sunny, Futurama, Archer, Scrubs, Louie, Portlandia, Bob's Burgers, Trailer Park Boys. When it comes to technology, my attention span is very short. Less than 30 mins, say. Breaking bad makes me sad.

Music: Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, Doc Watson, Dwight Yokam, Otis Redding, Wilco, Screamin' Jay Hawkins, Gogol Bordello, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, Earl Scruggs, Sleater-Kinney, Jayhawks, the Clash, Townes Van Zandt, War on drugs, Devil Makes Three, Robbie Fulks, Atmosphere, Ween, Guy Clarke, Neil Young, Pixies, Dr. Dog, Decemberists, King Kahn & the bbq show, Scott h Biram, LCD Soundsystem, Yo la Tengo, Outkast, Shovels & Rope, Uncle Tupelo, Sam Cooke, music from 90's. I also love pop country.

Food: I Love most of the food. Here's what I like to eat/drink on a daily basis: Yerba Mate, Peanut butter & apples, spicy hummus, Doritos, Bananas, Hard Cider, Beer (this deserves it's own category), Kombucha, Ginger beer, venison, any part of the pig, Potatoes, eggs, whiskey. I'm also starting to nerd out on teas. It should be more popular than it actually is...
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
- Family & friends
- music
- something to chew on
- something to read
- the great outdoors!
- Water (as in ocean, lake or river)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Women. People's thoughts. Animal's thoughts. Building my own cabin in the woods, and how great it will be.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Workin'. Then going out and trying to be social. Or not...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Sometimes, I like to wear lacy women's underwear to work. It makes me feel confident & sexy... Kidding! This section is stupid...
