We're just two lost souls
Swimming in a fish bowl,
Year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
What have we found?
The same old fears.
Wish you were here.
“And did you get what
you wanted from this life, even so?
And what did you want?
To call myself beloved, to feel myself
beloved on the earth.”
― Raymond Carver, A New Path to the Waterfall
"Nobody sees anybody truly but all through the flaws of their own egos. That is the way we all see ...each other in life. Vanity, fear, desire, competition-- all such distortions within our own egos-- condition our vision of those in relation to us. Add to those distortions to our own egos the corresponding distortions in the egos of others, and you see how cloudy the glass must become through which we look at each other. That's how it is in all living relationships except when there is that rare case of two people who love intensely enough to burn through all those layers of opacity and see each other's naked hearts.” Tennessee Williams
What I have to offer is real and it is human and and it is fair and it is dignified at all times and it is filled with possibilities. It will always be genuine and it will always be because I want you to feel at ease. It is not a sign of weakness to respect a lady or to ask for that same respect. I prefer a younger lady, not necessarily in age but in attitude. Everyone deserves the "right" one, too bad we sometimes overlook that one because there are too many choices and too little thought involved.
I have a very good life; I'm financially comfortable, emotionally stable and capable of communicating intellectually with women.
My profile doesn't convey who I am. I'm actually quite fun to be around. I have four degrees and a book full of accomplishments but I don't have you.
I taught Dental Assisting technical school for the last nine years in the Air Force promoted to and retired as the Commandant of the Airman Leadership School.
I'm proud to have served my country for 21 years. I chose the military to help me become a man and then I made the choice to become a GOOD man.
I now work with the veterans at the VAMC in JC and am proud of that association.
I'm looking for a fun, intelligent, interesting, and positive person who takes care of herself and is looking for more of what life has to offer.
I am looking for chemistry and a deeper connection with someone who shares similar interests and is ready to start a new adventure.
This profile is a work in progress.
