Enough of that.
Well I just moved here to Charlotte for a fresh start. I'm still in the "can barely find my way around" stage, so genuine social interaction is great.
The most fitting description of me would probably be "information sink". I tend to occupy myself with learning new skills or picking up new hobbies. I also gravitate towards nonfiction reads or documentaries.
I'm quite fond of building inside jokes and having semantics debates. A good conversation is all I really ask for from people. Simple enough I'd hope.
I mesh better with people who are opinionated, learned or at least somewhat in touch with the world around them. Chances are if you can prove me wrong in some regard or out debate me in a subject, I'll become a big fan quickly. Intelligence and comprehension are two of my preferred qualities in people. And no, I don't mean your ability to solve math problems. Its no fun trying to have a conversation about a topic when you have to keep explaining details.
Traveling is one hobby I plan to start occupying time with. Making up for the complacency I felt living in New England for so many years. Day trips for sure. Any new experience really, urban or scenic, is what I'm aiming for.
I'm a pretty grounded person I don't take myself too seriously. Laid back and worry free is how I generally operate. I am very humor driven as well. I'm all about making people smile, its another hobby of mine.
Yes I understand that this is all a random bundle of thoughts with no direction. It happens from time to time.
