My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
So this is supposed to be the sales pitch eh? Well I'm a part time astronaut, opera singer, stunt butt and I invented checkers. My dad is Richard Feynman, I used to be in Led Zeppelin (before they made it), I know katare and I founded the town of Lincoln, Nebraska. I was also in the movie "Titanic" (I was the ship).

Enough of that.

Well I just moved here to Charlotte for a fresh start. I'm still in the "can barely find my way around" stage, so genuine social interaction is great.

The most fitting description of me would probably be "information sink". I tend to occupy myself with learning new skills or picking up new hobbies. I also gravitate towards nonfiction reads or documentaries.

I'm quite fond of building inside jokes and having semantics debates. A good conversation is all I really ask for from people. Simple enough I'd hope.

I mesh better with people who are opinionated, learned or at least somewhat in touch with the world around them. Chances are if you can prove me wrong in some regard or out debate me in a subject, I'll become a big fan quickly. Intelligence and comprehension are two of my preferred qualities in people. And no, I don't mean your ability to solve math problems. Its no fun trying to have a conversation about a topic when you have to keep explaining details.

Traveling is one hobby I plan to start occupying time with. Making up for the complacency I felt living in New England for so many years. Day trips for sure. Any new experience really, urban or scenic, is what I'm aiming for.

I'm a pretty grounded person I don't take myself too seriously. Laid back and worry free is how I generally operate. I am very humor driven as well. I'm all about making people smile, its another hobby of mine.

Yes I understand that this is all a random bundle of thoughts with no direction. It happens from time to time.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I ponder this from time to time, though i'm sure we all do.(Depressing, I know)

Probably working and finishing a degree at some point soon. Trying to gain as many skills and hobbies as I possibly can.

I'm normally searching for new and unique experiences. That or muddling through a store reading nutrition labels.

Mostly anything educational I enjoy. A good documentary about the universe, the earth or history and I'm happy. Any form of media that I can absorb information from and repeat back to other people to pretend that I am a learned badass.

I generally stick to non fiction reads, Carl Sagan is definitely my favorite author. Bill Bryson and NDT are another two of my favorites. I do have a soft spot for some fiction works.

Lately I've been trying to read some of the classics of fiction that I may have missed up to this point in my life.

I also have an obligation to read as many Stephen King books as I can get my paws on.

Music is my preferred form of art. I can appreciate and enjoy any person or group that is talented. I've been playing the guitar for several years. So as a musician, I have a pretty easy time differentiating between art/emotion/creativeness and the laboratory created mainstream shit that ends blasting on radio hourly. Do you play an instrument? Let's jam.

Movies? They're entertaining I guess.

Sports are great! Im a big fan of going to any games or events that I can. The same goes for concerts or shows.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Social interaction.
Heat.
Water.
Opposable thumbs.
The occasional draft beer.
And uhhh, poptarts?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Everything. Constantly. My mind does not stop. Ive never been inside someone else's head so I can't make an accurate assessment in my assumption, yet it seems my brain is always in overdrive, reading in between every little detail.

Ive been told I'm extremely analytical and my situational awareness is high, even if I'm good at acting oblivious.

You just should, trust me on this one.
You enjoy a good laugh or a deep conversation.

You consider yourself an interesting person or have a great personality!

You can make decisions for yourself.

You're a real person. Not literally real, but real with yourself and your understanding and approach to life on this planet.

You enjoy discussing outer space, social issues, music, politics, or sports. Also if want to share any fun facts.

You find a grammar error in my profile. Thanks in advance for doing me a solid.

You have the will to break one of the unwritten rules of okcupid( and life I guess) and send me a message first if you find my profile interesting, or think I would make a good travel or conversation partner. Chances are I'm not going to write messages to everyone who visits my profile. So the best way of telling me that you'd like to chat is uhh.... Telling me haha
