Let's see. I recently turned 25. CRAZY! I work as a clinical laboratory scientist and I take my job very seriously. I basically do all the tests that your doctors order. Fun huh?

I grew up in San Jose, went to UCLA for college and now am back in the Bay. I miss LA a lot. ... the food and weather was better and take frequent trips back ... for chicken and waffles amongst other things =)

My favorite sport is basketball.. go Lakers! I'm a budding foodie (I like to think that I'm a better eater than I am a chef) and I love traveling to new places and trying new things. The thing is that I am lactose intolerant and allergic to seafood, but I work around it.

I'm sort of a homebody and therefore LOVE movies. I'm working my way through the classics one at a time. I'm stuck somewhere in the 1960s so I have quite a way to go. But my favorite director is probably Hitchcock.

What I’m doing with my life

I am a clinical laboratory scientist which means I make your medical lab results magically appear. I'm trying unsuccessfully to learn how to cook but I'm getting there one botched recipe at a time. I'm a fabulous baker. I am a chemist so I can make some dark chocolate cupcakes that will knock your socks off.

I'm currently in that fantastic time in life where I decide whether or not to go back to school but for now making money and spending it is winning. =)

I’m really good at

yelling at the TV... I LOVE basketball. In particular I'm a Lakers fan. My other favorite teams include the Blazers and Thunder. I go to the Oracle and watch quite a few Warriors games.

trivia games, actually I'm pretty good at board games in general. I will kill you at Trivial Pursuit and Cranium. Yes that is indeed a challenge.

Books: Microbio related books amuse me to no end... and scare me a good amount. My sense of humor is more akin to stuff like the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.
