My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi! I'm Ryan. I like staying positive and usually have too much energy for my own good. The day just goes better when I burn it all off in the morning! I get lost in thought easily. I struggle not to put an exclamation point after every sentence.

My Myers-Briggs personality type is FFFF
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm serious about yoga and have just started practicing daily. I love riding my bike, but sometimes I'd rather just run. My health is important to me.

I work for a used bookstore and like my job. I like Nashville, too, but I want to move somewhere entirely new before my years get away from me! Ideally, I'd make a nice little living off an internet business or creative endeavor. In the woods? Near the ocean? Probably both, in turns. But with a dog, definitely.

I'm a serial hobbyist, always picking up new distractions. Always hoping to find one that sticks, like yoga and cycling seem to. A partial list of things: aikido, snowboarding, rock climbing, ceramic scuplture, stand-up comedy, electronic music, BASIC, HTML, and just plain old doodling.

I'm currently saving up for my next overseas vacation. A bicycle tour, I think, but I'm leaving that decision until I have a bit more saved.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm really good at finding the bright side! Everyone always tells me I'm this huge optimist, but they don't know my struggles. Sometimes I go a WHOLE WEEK without ANY pizza. Not even ONE slice.

Also I can hold a plank pose for a pretty long time.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

My favorite author is Vonnegut, and I say his best is Slaughterhouse-Five. Right now I'm listening to the first Song of Ice & Fire book in my car.

I like funny movies, I like smart movies, I like watching and making fun of terrible, silly movies. I can't stand to see any movie more than twice, even if I like it, and I don't watch movies alone. Here's a good movie: The Naked Gun.

I've seen three seasons of Game of Thrones, all of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia (all that's on netflix), and lately I've just been poking at a few netflix cartoons.

I like really energetic music. Mostly electronic. My favorite album currently is Anamanaguchi's Endless Fantasy. I also really like Girl Talk.

I like food a lot. Especially pizza and Thai. I like life a lot when I am eating those things.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Thai green curry (extra spicy please)
2. The unconditional love and support of a small animal
3. Plenty of distractions
4. A hot shower every morning
5. The comfort of knowing that I've got a vacation coming up
6. A sixth thing that I could never do without
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How I'll remember my thirties when I'm 40.
Why are haters real?

Lately I think a lot about methodology versus results. I believe that intent matters more than results do. I'd rather do things the "right" way and get an undesirable result than the other way around. Nobody ever truly knows what will come from the things they do, so why not pay more attention to the things you do than what comes from them?
On a typical Friday night I am
