I am independent, studious, and geeky.
My Self-Summary
I'm a student right now at Beloit College. I am a huge fan of
procrastination at school work, unfortunately. I enjoy doing
community service with my friends, not to mention late night
laundry. They find it amusing to watch me get unusually tired. We
also enjoy walking in the rain around campus.
My roommate and I are really tight. We don't have fights like
normal people...if you want to know anything else, just ask.
What I’m doing with my life
I am currently a college student in Wisconsin, not far from home.
Schoolwork is a major focus of mine right now but I enjoy hanging
out with my friends a lot. My goal in life is to be a librarian so
I have plans to continue to grad school and get a graduate degree
in Library and Information Sciences.
I’m really good at
I am terrific at being ridiculous. My family won't let me forget
how many times I mishear what they have said. I also tend to not
think before I speak, leading to my friends teasing me a lot. All
in good fun!
The first things people usually notice about me
My hair has a mind of its own. Somedays it might be tame but more
often than not it tends to stray.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I am a huge follower of
Tamora Pierce and I highly enjoy
reading volumes of manga. A few movies that come to mind are the
Harry Potter series, The Dark Knight, and
Labyrinth. Holiday food is the food
group in the world. Holiday cookies in particular are terrific. I
like
country music
a lot, specifically alternative country. I can also get into some
pop and classic rock, but I keep away from some of the more recent
music.
The six things I could never do without
Only six? If I'm forced to choose, I would probably choose to need
a notebook that I would be able to write in (does a pencil count as
one?), my iPod, my roommate, my family, breakfast cereal, and
itching creme for mosquito bites.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
how much homework I have. It's not a lot, but it's enough that
sometimes I have to lock myself in my room to get it done.
And NaNoWriMo. National Novel Writing Month. Writing 50,000 words
in November! We're pumped!
On a typical Friday night I am
hanging out with my friends in the laundry room, getting to know
each other better and joking about life in general.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I am pretty liberal about a lot of things, but not about drug use
or the death penalty.
You should message me if
you think homosexuals should be able to get married and enjoy
watching SyFy, BBC,
Torchwood or
Doctor Who.
