Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I love going on dates: board games, movie night, walking down the
park, futzing around in a library, setting things on fire, robbing
a museum, just casual things.
UT grad from Plan II/English. I'm an outgoing introvert, so I'll
chat up strangers for hours but love staying in with friends ogling
naked bodies on Game of Thrones and talking about life. Also,
totally using okc as a way to find people to build a queer
movie/crafting group. (That's what this app is, right? A way for
old ladies to connect?)
Forreal though - I'm a passionate person when it comes to learning
and I love meeting people who are the same.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I get cyclically invested in: writing, embroidery, fitness, hiking,
cooking, woodworking. Constantly educating myself about oppression,
power, and subversion. I want to be a lady-in-waiting and a
lumberjack. After all, gender is a performance or some shit, Butler
said .
Left my corporate manager job! Now I'm doing freelance work,
writing for grad school, and talking to my cats. But don't worry, I
also hang out with my friends that are not furry (that I know of).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'Il tell you what I'm bad at: getting cultural references,
flirting with cute girls, starting books and then not eating until
I'm done, understanding fine wine, living up to my Chinese mother's
hopes of me becoming a doctor
The first things people usually notice about me

If it's possible to be a bit shy but also extremely open to talking
about incredibly inappropriate subjects, that's me too!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books/Movies - Favorite authors are GG Marquez/Yiyun Li/Junot
Diaz/Kazuo Ishiguro. As for funner stuff, can't go wrong with
Gaiman. I love sci-fi, slipstream, and cross-genre. Character
nonfiction (Destiny of the Republic) is really great too! Does
anyone else develop deep crushes on historical figures? For me it's
Madame de Pompadour and President James Garfield. Check out how he
was elected, it's hilarious.
Music - My perfect Pandora station: Chopin, Gottschalk, Clazziquai,
Janelle Monae, Justice, and Bitter:Sweet. Throw some Biggie in
Shows - There is no show I watch that distinguishes me from the
Austinite doctor-who-and-game-of-thrones crowd. Recent pleasure:
Black Mirror. Brazen pleasure: RuPaul's Drag Race.
Food - I cook a lot - the hotter the better. If there were a spicy
food question, it would be set not even at mandatory, but
exclusionary. Listen - Chinese people have an actual word for those
who don't like spicy food, and it's not nice.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. my extensive collection of pens
3. nail polish
5. bitchy-looking shoes
6. the young human skin I wear so nobody knows I'm a slug alien
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to be a better person. Social justice and action work. Literary
and cultural analysis. Send me some longforms and I'll send you
back my feelings charted on Excel.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with friends, hitting up strangers, cooking senselessly
elaborate meals because I get urges for everything at the worst
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

Currently in a poly relationship, so I'm casually seeing people

You wanna do activities (I mean this in both the literal sense and
the Stepbrothers sense)...or if you're a lover of queer politics,
or a reader of fantastical things, or a terminally ill and
extremely rich person.
