I'm fascinated by the artistic process and love being around those who spend their time creating something. That something can be just about any kind of item, from knitted socks to a 30 foot statue. The important part is that creation, and its fun for me to be there and support someone who just has to tweak that painting just a bit more.

Humor gets me through life, the drier the better. When that doesnt work there is always Scotch...(mostly kidding, but sometimes a bit of Scotch can make the day all better). I'll admit to a bit of a sarcastic streak, but only a bit. Ok, maybe more than a bit...

I work in IT so I love technology, its part of what makes me tick during the day. Which means yep, I'm geeky a good portion of the time, play games, and spend entirely too much time on the internet.

I was raised as an Air Force brat and lived overseas for my formative years. I've lived in Spain, England, Saudi Arabia, and Germany (back when the wall was still up). When you move every three years you get used to new things, and I love it to this day. I like to see new places, hear about someone's experiences, and generally explore. I don't understand wanting to spend your whole life in one little area...

Currently I'm working in IT and enjoy my job greatly. I've always loved technology so I'm glad I found a spot that lets me do something I like and happily support myself doing so.

When I'm not at the grindstone I've started going back to watching live music as much as possible, I've always enjoyed it and you can never come home with your ears ringing too many times. Throw in time with my friends and I'm a happy camper.

I do also have a freaky ability to remember faces. I can meet you once and pick you out easily much later. Unfortunately names don't always go with it...

Music can be anything from Band of Horses to Sara McLachlan to Of Monsters and Men to Mumford and Sons. I'll give anything a shot except for most rap and no religious music. I recently started going through the terabyte of music I have sitting uncatalouged on my computer that I got from friends. So who knows what will be playing at any given time.

Movies usually range into horror I must admit. I know lots of people hate them, but I love them all. From cheesey zombie flicks to dramatic supernatural thrillers I'll watch it. More favorites here than I can list out but it includes The Princess Bride, Blade Runner, Nightmare Before Christmas, Pan's Labyrinth, Lost in Translation, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Trying to eat healthier in general, But I love pizza, Mexican, and Thai food. I firmly believe in trying foods before saying I hate them, so I'm always willing to try something new.

My favorite book currently is American Gods, but I havent gotten to read nearly as much as I would like to unless its work related. I'm open to suggestions. Last piece of classic literature I read was Dante's Inferno, last book for fun was Never Let Me Go. I stick to fiction because I read to escape a bit.

How some people can spend their whole lives in one place and not want to explore the world, what happened to all my damn socks, what the Aura Borealis looks like in person, and what I would look like if I could actually grow a full beard.

I'm going to be in a pub with friends, generally making sarcastic jokes about each other and playing some pool or darts. The amount of alcohol is directly proportional to the amount of designated drivers we have. If we can all agree on a show then we will end up at some form of live music later in the night.

I used to slide down our staircase on my stomach for hours when I was 4. I was apparently easily amused.

If you enjoy spending hours creating something and want someone to get excited about it with you.
If you enjoy going crazy but like having someone there to make sure blood isn't shed but everyone has fun.
If you are up for a random plane ride to New York one weekend.
If you enjoy the ringing sound in your ears that comes from music played entirely too loud.
If you run outside in the lightning storm to enjoy the moment instead of sitting inside.
