After completing a thrilling degree in Art History, English and Religious Studies, I decided I hated academia and that I really wanted to get people drunk for a living. So now I am the assistant manager and resident social media guru for a small wine shop, with some Sbux thrown in on top to keep me busy.

I just got back from New York City... and now have the travel bug bad!

The fact I'm 6'5 and 215 pounds... I'm a little large... follow that up with the beard and my snappy sartorial choices.. and a general witty disposition, with a barbed tongue and biting humour.

Books: Anything by Jasper Fforde and Bernard Cornwell..

Movies: Zulu, A Bridge Too Far, Midnight Clear, Jiro Dreams of Sushi, really I've seen most of Netflix...

TV Shows: The entire Law and Order catalogue, Homicide: Life on the Street, Spooks, The Wire, Fawlty Towers, Father Ted, Game of Thrones and Hell on Wheels.

Music: Joy Division, The National, Mumford and Sons, The Clash, New Order, The Jam, the XX, R.E.M., The Smiths, Sisters of Mercy,
Sufjan Stevens, Talking Heads, Nick Lowe and Rockpile.

Food: Indian, Thai, Vietnamese especially Pho, Japanese especially Ramen, and a really good beef dip.

A good bottle of wine, a french press, the ipod and a pair of speakers, the ability to laugh and make people laugh, jeans and my camera.

I spend way way way too much time thinking about Church politics and theology, but that's the joy of having a degree focusing in Church history...

usually working.. after work I try to head to one of my favourite bars for a cocktail, glass of wine or a beer..or three. Im a huge movie freak though, so I may be found wrapped up in bed eating ramen and watching some obscure movie.

I don't make much sense... I'm a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma... just ask.

you have a thing for tall guys with beards who know an impressive amount about wine... or you like Eric Whitacre, the National and the Wire, but then again that may just be me...
