I live in central Florida and am looking for someone to talk with face-to-face and who I can invite to go places. I live in an area where there is a lot going on and want to take you to some pretty cool events. Although I do volunteer work now I am a former newspaper writer, substitute teacher and U.S. Census Bureau worker. I try to keep fit and in my spare time I love to walk and I always like to discover what's around the next corner. I enjoy reading and creative writing (can't you tell by this profile??) I strongly value a sense of hmor and honesty. I don't smoke or do drugs. My criminal history is non-existent except for a couple of parking tickets. I've paid my debt to society and hopefully you'll findit in your heart to overlook those shortcomings (gasp!) and still want to meet me.

Right now I volunteer at a local nature center where I do a number of different things. My favorite is guiding school children who come on field trips. I guide them on one of the four activities we do for each class on a field trip. It is really fun to see their eyes light up and to discover the great things that nature has to offer. I also go to community events where we introduce people to the nature center and offer activities for the kids to take home.

It's been said I sound like Henry Fonda. I really have no idea if I do or don't. Maybe you can say for sure if you met me.
