My self-summary
The username refers to Oscar Wilde, who is my hero. I'm into literature, the Victorian era, theatre, writing, and masses of other things. When I'm into something, I'm really into it, and spend a lot of time on it.

I listen to too many podcasts, mostly storytelling and sex advice. I write, but never finish anything. I cannot live without my morning cup of tea and I define "morning" as "around noon." I'm trying to do the whole starving artist thing without actually starving, which is great and all but does mean I don't have conventional "weekends" -- Monday is my Saturday.

People often comment that I come off as very reserved, or prim. People often LATER comment that they were completely wrong about me. Make of that what you will.

I'm in a relationship already, but not a monogamous one. That means I'm free to hang out, free to be casually involved, but I'm not going to be your girlfriend. Right now I'm mostly interested in women, but that doesn't mean other genders never catch my eye.
What I’m doing with my life
Taking classes and hunting for a new job, an agent, and a good hookah bar.
I’m really good at
overanalyzing everything to bits and still enjoying it afterwards, writing other people's fictional characters, pole dancing
The first things people usually notice about me
My voice-- I overarticulate from years onstage.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Hunger Games, Jasper Fforde's Thursday Next series, anything by Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman, or David Sedaris.

Movies - Nightmare Before Christmas, The Cabin in the Woods, The Secretary, and an embarrassing number of superhero movies

Music: Ani Difranco, Amanda Palmer, The Black Keys, and SO MANY SHOWTUNES. You've been warned.

Food -- falafel, anything with enough garlic to kill a small horde of vampires (lucky for you, I also love mint!)
The six things I could never do without
my teapot, my kindle (or a purse big enough to hold a decent-sized hardcover,) a lot of hugs, the company of smart people, the TKTS booth, and some serious peace and quiet every now and then
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Theatre, books, feminism, sexuality, little random details that are completely irrelevant and yet interesting, the awesomeness of this video.
On a typical Friday night I am
working through my Netflix queue with my boyfriend, at a theater party, or visiting friends in DC.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I find acting classes embarrassingly therapeutic.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like girls
  • Ages 19–35
  • Near me
  • For new friends, casual sex
You should message me if
* You know where the good hookah bars are.
* You know where the good kink parties are.
* You like weird old books and want to talk about them.
* You're a big theater nerd too.
* You understand that "bisexual" does not mean "proposition me for a threesome."
* You understand that "sexually submissive" does not mean "has no boundaries or personal tastes."
