My self-summary
Before you message me, read my ENTIRE profile, please. Yes, I know. it's long. Please bear with me! If you see anything interesting, go ahead and email me. I don't bite and enjoy meeting interesting new people.

Also, please be able to read and write English, not this cyber-shorthand crap. Emails or IM's that begin with "U R hott" or variations thereof will simply be ignored, as will emails or IM's that have no substance. Be prepared to tell me something about why you messaged me, and PLEASE have at least SOME profile information available. I will extend the same courtesy to you.

Now that that's out of the way, on to my profile!

First thing you need to know: I'm a Witch and too empathic for my own good. My personal take on religion is simple: I respect yours, you respect mine, and we'll get along just fine. :)

I'm the female half of a bi couple, and we're interested in meeting like minded people, male or female, or even another bi-couple. No pressure social get togethers may lead to something more fun for all!

Some other things have also changed recently, and I am available for solo fun. However, I am STILL not interested in a one night hook up. I prefer something with a little more substance. So, if you're into me as a solo partner, I'd prefer to get to know you, become a friend, go slow and let things happen in their own good time. Sound good to you? Email me then, what are you waiting for?

I live near Savannah in a small college town called Statesboro. I've lived in this general area the majority of my life, and I love it here.

I'm generally relaxed and easygoing, and love to be around people, though often too shy to talk to 'em. I'm something of a free spirit. I enjoy doing unusual things. I"m not into the typical bar or date scene, preferring a kayak tour or a ghost walk to the standard date movie.

My ideal evening out would be something casual, dinner and some good conversation, possibly a movie, maybe a walk on the beach to watch the sun set or the moon rise. A chat over hot coffee and some smooth jazz would go down just fine as well. Basically, getting to know one another, relax and have a good time. Of course I enjoy the same things with old friends as well. I'm actually pretty easy to get on with!

I don't sound it but I'm an adventurous soul, and enjoy trying new things. Now, I'm not out to ride every roller coaster in the USA, I hate the things, but if there's an alternative to a typical date I'm usually up for it.

I'm creative, emotional, a dreamer and a closet romantic. I enjoy walking, especially if water or a historic area is involved; long talks over hot drinks, and just being with the people I care about. I shoot pool decently and bowl badly. I'm an artist and a poet, as well as an avid reader. I read most anything but especially SF&F, mysteries and thrillers. I don't watch a lot of TV if I have another choice... but I will watch some shows like Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. I'll admit to being addicted to the assorted crime dramas, CSI, NCIS, Criminal Minds, stuff like that. My fave NCIS character is Abbey, CSI is of course Grissom, and CSI: NY is the Greek lady whose name I can't spell. A friend recently gave me the entire first season of the new Doctor Who on DVD. Chris Eccleston is awesome! The Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, and Cartoon Network Adult Swim are on my list as well, I must admit. I'll be honest I'd be just as happy out of the house and forgetting TV existed!

I'm a gamer geek from WAY back... I run and play AD&D, and play White Wolf (preferably Werewolf, the Apocalypse LARP), MechWarrior, RIFTS, TMNT, cyberpunk, shadowrun... and the list goes on. :)

Seriously, if I sound at all interesting, feel free to write... I'd love to write back. Be well.

What I’m doing with my life
Back in Statesboro, Georgia, for lots of reasons. I swear I have a giant Bungee cord attached to my butt that keeps yanking me BACK here every few years!

No longer employed as a psychic, but I still do readings for friends and family as asked. :)

For those of you who like to make the "You're the psychic, you tell me" jokes: please don't. Psychics tend to work hard at NOT reading everyone we meet. It's rude. Truly, I don't "read" anyone unless I'm working. Not even emotions, because I work hard at protecting myself from the people around me.

I’m really good at
Reading Tarot, helping people, caring, being a friend, and hugs!

What else am I good at? Writing poetry, or so I'm told. Devouring books by the cartload! I read way too much, I think. Listening to people. Solving everybody else's troubles but never really being able to see my own clearly. Taking care of my assorted pets, spoiling them horribly!

The first things people usually notice about me
I"m not sure, will have to ask around and see what people say. :)

First answer: ladyhawkew: Your hair, how it frames your face, your quirky sense of humor, the cadence of your voice

Second answer, finally! From a friend: your eyes. Just something about your eyes.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books, is a hard one for me to answer. hmm. The Sholan Alliance novels (Lisanne Norman), Diana Gabaldon, the Black Jewels Trilogy by Anne Bishop (WOW!), anything by Mercedes Lackey, some Stephen King, sci-fi, fantasy, Clive Cussler, Tom Clancy, James Patterson, Nevada Barr, Heinlein, JD Robb... paranormal romance here recently. Especially if it's weres. I really like the DarkHunter and WereHunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon. I'm an avid reader of whatever catches my fancy, so I"m always trying new writers. The local library is my Very Best Friend! I can get books without having to PAY for them and if I happen to hate them, I"m at least not out any money.

Movies, I like Man Alone, xXx, Chonicles of Riddick, *shrug* Disney animated, most action/adventure, some romantic comedy, dramas, and other animated like Ice Age and Titan AE. My movie tastes are similar to my book preferences, really. Eclectic! Though recently I've tried a few movies that looked good on the box but ended up SUCKING.

I was amazed at Night in the Museum, it was actually pretty good! I"m not a big Ben Stiller fan so I wasn't holding any high hopes for the flick.... and was very pleasantly surprised!

Much the same goes for Adam Sandler and 50 First Dates. I watched it the first time 'cause I"m a Drew Barrymore fan, and was happily surprised!

Music, hmm, modern alternative, 80's, jazz, new age, techno-industrial, goth, House, trance... hmm, damn near everything but bad boy rap and opera. A friend just introduced me to a new band, Merry Widow, and I"m looking for their album, The Ties that Bind

Food, hmm, american (BURGERS!), Japanese (sushi), Italian, Mexican... hmm, guess I"m am omnivore!

I spend a lot of time thinking about
The book I'm currently reading. Writing. Philosophy (Thich Nhat Hahn's books, oftimes) and the poetry of living within the world, not just existing. The dance of living, the movement that is and within everything around us. Spirituality. Love. Survival.

On a typical Friday night I am
When funds allow, I like to go out, shoot some pool, hang with friends, and dance. Anybody have any other suggestions? Anybody wanna come rescue me from another weekend of terminal boredom? I'd really enjoy getting out of the house and having some fun.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I live with asperger's syndrome and fibromyalgia. This makes me occasionally socially challenged. I try but my reply emails may sound off key or strange. Be patient with me, there really is a good person behind the social awkwardness.

I'm also a type 1 insulin-dependent diabetic. I take both shots and pills to control it.

I'm somewhat housekeeping-challenged. The housework gets done in bursts of intense activity with long spells of inactivity between.

Oh, one other thing: I have a massive weakness for men with long hair and skin art. Both together are a plus!
