I've been working the last eight years of my life in sports journalism. I was recently laid off by an Atlanta newspaper. I used to keep insane hours from working at a newspaper, but am slowly making the adjustment to working during normal, day hours.

However, I still maintain being a night owl, so if you ever just want to grab a cup of coffee or go explore the city late one night, I do enjoy odd excursions as well.

With the extra time on my hands, something I'm still getting used to, I'm spending it finishing up my undergrad at Georgia State in economics with a minor in journalism.

I've concentrated the majority of my life on working. While I realize that this is a turn-off for many, I find that working and producing something of value is more important to future success than debating academia ad nauseum, though it can be fun to do at times.

I had a teacher in high school that once taught me the value of the well-rounded individual - a concept the Greeks first thought of. I'd like to think that I strive to be that person every day of my life.

I am very outgoing, so usually people will notice that I am friendly. After that, I hope that they find me to be interesting and intelligent.

However, it might be best for me to follow the Algonquin advice of the latter notion...

Does anyone actually measure their capability to date someone based upon what books/movies/food someone likes? If so, this makes no sense to me.
