I grew up in Southern California, went to college in Boston, and recently moved to Brooklyn after Boston became too comfortable. I love music, dance, visual art, and especially the theatre!

I'm a musical theatre Composer/Lyricist/Bookwriter and playwright, so I try to write as much as possible. Mostly, I just do crosswords and go to the NYPL TOFT archives! Walking around aimlessly is fun too. Pretty much anything that doesn't involve a great deal on money!

Playwrights: Sarah Ruhl, Chris Durang, Paula Vogel, Arthur Miller, David Lindsay Abaire, Neil Simon, Sarah Jones, Woody Allen, Edward Albee, Alfred Jarry, Eugene Ionesco, James Lapine, Arthur Laurents, Craig Lucas.

Music: I listen mainly to Musical Theater, top 40, and 80's/90's R&B. I find that there is something in every genre I can obssess over.

Composers/lyricists: Stephen Sondheim, Adam Guettel, William Finn, Maltby/Shire, Menken/Ashman, Kander/Ebb, Boch/Harnick, Bobby Lopez, Jerry Herman

Movies: The Apartment, Sleuth, What's Up Doc, Paper Moon, Manhattan, My Sister Eileen, every Marx Bros. movie (especially Go West)!

TV shows: I like TV but don't find much time to watch it. I really like educational/pop science shows like NOVA science now! It's been a dream of mine since I was ten to be on Jeopardy! I love that shit, even without Alex's moustache!

The theatre, music, making rent, cupcakes, words, collective nouns (an obstinancy of buffalo may be my favorite), bonobos, how much i want to hang out with Neil deGrasse Tyson!

Working until 11:30 or so and then maybe a couple of drinks with some friends.

I'm poor as all hell and probably shouldn't be dating. However, I'm pretty good at finding free events or free tickets to things!

You would like to go to the theater, or discuss the theatre with me. If you'd like to go to or discuss the Alexander McQueen exhibit at the Met! Perhaps you know of something fun and free to do But you lack a proper activities partner. Or if you like the way old books smell, we could go smell some books.
