My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
* I'm not looking to meet anyone. I'm in a very happy relationship. I just reactivated my profile out of boredom and good ole fashion internet voyeurish.*

I'm from rural Louisiana and very happy to be out of redneckville. It doesn't take a lot to make me content. I like to go jogging with my dog or sit with him at the fly, watch the boats, and identify birds. I stare at rocks like a weirdo. Puns are the highest form of humor. I would like to meet someone who is laid back and enjoys porch drinking as much as I do. Everything is better when drunk from a mason jar.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have a Geology degree from Tulane. I work for a major oil company (don't judge) though not as a geologist. Grad school is in the near future so I can become a real live geologist again! I plan to retire on a wooden boat that I will build (I already have the design picked out).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Fixing small engines, making furniture out of old wood, fixing toilets, being a little awkward, not caring, being able to talk to anyone, wasting time on the internet, and building fires. Pretty good at making people laugh, halfway decent guitar player. Finding faces in inanimate objects.
The first things people usually notice about me

Whatever the opposite of swag is.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books/authors: Bill Bryson, David Sedaris, Cormac McCarthy, and the “A Song of Ice and Fire” series. Ender's game was my first favorite and still is. If they make that movie, it better be fucking amazing!
Movies: Nacho Libre, I'm serious.
Shows: I watch a lot of documentaries. Anything narrated by David Attenborough is awesome. Animal Planet is the shit, Workaholics as well.
Music: Lately I’ve been listening to bluegrass, old country, and my “The Kills” Pandora station. All of Jack White's bands, blues, Shovels and Rope. I like all the musics though. Graceland is the best album ever made.
Food: I like to cook. My fish tacos are pretty dern goooood. I take Tony's with me when I travel.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My dog, The woods, Family, Music, Booze, NPR
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Earth processes. The awkward thing I said in my last conversation. Am I really on the best path to the career I want? Seinfeld quotes. Why my dog does the strange things he does.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At home singing Hank Williams to my dog or at a friends house playing music and drankin (singing Hank Williams with other people).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My first email address was Weezer related. I have no regrets...

You like dogs and want to meet someone nice and uncomplicated or if you think drinking and watching 30 Rock till you fall asleep is a valid weeknight activity.
