rock persuasion. cris williamson and similar queer lady musicians
from the seventies. this encompasses many of my standards for
music, although i do have a vast array of musical tastes.

murmurs, ani difranco, some missy higgins.
also i am on a huge harry nilsson kick.
things i have read multiple times and still love:
assata shakur's autobiography, the bell jar, the unbearable
lightness of being, la casa de bernarda alba, zami: a new spelling
of my name.
i used to work at shakespeare camp.
i like flannery o'connor.
and also poetry, especially friendships like audre lorde and
joss whedon. (by which i mainly mean buffy, but i always love
joss). friends. torchwood. my little pony: friendship is magic.
friday night lights. bones. twin peaks. my so-called life. lip
service. daria. the l-word. misfits. lost girl. true blood. orange
is the new black. nashville. battlestar galactica.
i used to watch glee so i could be up-to-date on the latest racist,
transphobic, fat-shaminh, singing and dancing sensation but gave up
a while ago.
i've also given up on doctor who because steven moffat has ruined
if it's queer i'll love it/at least have a lot of things to say
10 things i hate about you and across the universe.
