Long term dating more fits my personality than short term, just for the moment I'm wanting to experiment a little. But if we really hit it off, I'm totally open to making it long term.

I'm a quiet shy girl who often takes my time opening up to new people. This makes it extremely difficult for me in social settings to try to find someone to experience life with. Maybe that's why I'm on here.

I love body mods. Several tattoos and quite a few piercings. I also split my tongue last year, which makes for some interesting kissing, usually quite fun, though it does turn some people off.

My primary hobby is writing poetry. They say I'm good. Usually I believe them, not always. I started in 2000, as a way to work through some issues, and have slowly gotten better at it. My poetry tends to be dark, though I can write on just about any subject, and have been known to write very beautiful pieces as well as the dark ones.

I am polyamorous. I currently have one partner, but we see each other rarely and I am available.

What am I doing with my life? Well, I work way too much. Need to find a new job. Otherwise, I've mostly just been trying to navigate myself through life.

Being myself. It's fun.

Invariably what people notice first about me is my tattoo. The big one. I more or less covered my upper body in flames.
Yes, it hurt.
No, I have no idea what it cost.
As for why? Well, only a handful of people get close enough to me to learn that.

Books, Steven King and I share a birthday, I suppose that means I love his writing (not the only reason). I love E. A. Poe, Anne Rice, Toliken, Thomas Harris, Chuck Palahniuk, and all kinds of other writers.
Also into poetry, although I haven't read as much as I'd like.

Movies, thrillers and horror, can go for sappy, rarely comedy, I hate superhero movies except the dark ones like The Watchmen.
American Psycho, Splice, Black Swan, 28 Days Later, V For Vendetta, Tank Girl, The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Decent, Hannibal (series), Mirrormask, Fight Club and Pan's Labyrinth catch a few of my favs.

TV, I hate commercials so I almost never watch TV. Actually, on my own, I don't ever watch it.

Music, goth - most forms. Some bands are: The Last Dance, Johnny Hollow, The 69 Eyes, The Sisters of Mercy, Diary Of Dreams, Faun, Nosferatu, Lacuna Coil, Fields Of The Nephilim, Bella Morte, Murder By Death, Lycia, L'Âme Immortelle and of course, I kinda have to admit to The Prodigy.
I, however, enjoy listening to all kinds of music and expanding my knowledge of good bands.

And food? I tend to not eat much rabbit food, but it can be good sometimes. Otherwise, I eat just about anything. Rarely cook, mostly for time/energy reasons. I do enjoy it once I'm doing it, and can make almost anything if I have a recipe.

Beyond that, well, I think I could adjust to most any situation. But I really don't want to give up most things in my life.

Writing poetry, sleeping, reading, trying to be social, getting pierced or whatever else strikes my fancy.
