This will definitely have to be a work in progress, but for the moment, here goes:

I'm liberal and a bit of a nerd. I'm interested in international culture/politics, and in social justice in this country and around the world. I have a master's degree in international coexistence and conflict and have have done a lot of work in interfaith/interethnic relations.

On the more fun side I enjoy trying out new bars/restaurants, playing Scrabble, painting, reading, writing in my journal, comedy (stand-up, sketch, woody allen, you name it), dancing, being involved in the community and spending time with my friends and family.

And of course I love to travel. My favorite place has probably been the Sinai Penninsula in Egypt. I've lived in both Israel and Northern Ireland, and hope that sometime in the next couple years I will be able to take a month or so to visit India.

Unfortunately (like so many of us) I was laid off from a great job at a local non-profit. Currently I'm looking for a new job, studying for the LSAT (law school entrance exam), and volunteering at a safe house for refugees and asylum seekers.

I'm also taking the time to do some serious self-exploration, thinking about what I really want in my life and start taking the steps to get there!

Physically it's my curly hair or my smile (provided I'm smiling, of course...) I hope when people actually talk to me they notice my sincerity, curiosity, and sense of humor.
