My self-summary
I could write out a bunch of words about what I think I'm like, but I don't think people are very good at describing themselves. I feel like, in a lot of cases, the things we label ourselves as are more of what we'd like to see ourselves as and less of what we actually are. I'd hate to give you false expectations.
Mostly I just think this is lame.

I really prefer the natural, unforced way of meeting people out in the wild, but winter in a new city has seemed to strip me of my ability to be out going, so I'll give this site a few more chances while I'm getting back on my feet with that.

Young single white female seeks friends, like minded companions, or people with super powers to plot world domination. Artists are a plus. Dabbling in sarcasm is a must. Apathetic individuals need not apply.
What I’m doing with my life
blowing it all on hookers and black jack

drawing
making movies
editing movies
painting
trying my hand at new types of art.
Taking hundreds of pictures of my cat and uploading them to social media.
I’m really good at
I'm very good at starting things. I'm very bad at finishing things. This applies to most aspects of my life.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm pint sized and covered in cat hair.
(one of my biggest pet peeves is when a stranger looks me over and says "you have a cat, don't you!")
Everybody seems to want to be cute and pull that line out on me. Please for the love of god spare me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books- If I can get all the way through a book, I'll probably add it on my favourites list. The top bests are:
The Collector by John Fowles, Venus in Furs, Lolita, American Gods (really anything by Neil Gaiman makes my heart swell), Scott Pilgrim series, Patti Smith's memoir "Just Kids"

Music- My days recently have been filled with Jonathan Coulton. He's the only one who understands me.

Movies- I love psychological thrillers and dark things. (some favourites are The Dreamers, We Need to Talk About Kevin, Secretary, May, Sleepers, Grosse Pointe Blank, Fantastic Mr. Fox (which is not dark nor a psychological thriller..)) I also like movies that are just painfully bad. Like Birdemic.
The six things I could never do without
I could live without hot showers, but I really would prefer not to.
Same with sunlight, books, my hands, ketchup.. and having a fully functional keyboard is pretty ideal.
On a typical Friday night I am
interpretive dancing or rearranging my furniture or both at the same time.

Or doing a countless number of things whilst sipping on an alcoholic beverage.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Unfortunately online "dating" has trained me to judge people really fast- trying to figure out if they're worth meeting or worth hanging out with a second or third time. I'm trying to go back to my old way of thinking that was more smiles, peace signs and "I wanna love EVERYONE".
