I really wish I could show how sophisticated and cultured I am by recommending this weird little Kazakhstan movie that all the critics loved, but I'm kinda bored outta my skull.  On top of that, the sound is kind of out of sync by several seconds, and it's subtitled, the effect being indescribably unsettling.

Best movie of the year remains "The Cove."
