My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Adventurer, athlete, artist, intellectual, and closet science nerd, milking life for all it’s worth and loving it.

I'm an insatiable traveler who lives for new experiences, new places, and new people. I’d rather give a gift of a trip of a lifetime than of jewelry. From town-hopping through the French countryside, to hiking the Patagonian wilderness, to exploring the coasts of the Mediterranean, I’m always seeking incredible experiences. By trade, I’ve gone from Princeton Biology major to investment banker to MBA grad to Bay Area techie, but at heart, I'm an athlete, outdoorsman, artist, writer, photographer, and general all-around creative with an adventurous spirit and many passions. I’ve grown up playing sports, live a very active lifestyle (don’t worry, you don’t have to - but it wouldn’t hurt), and take advantage of all the outdoor goodness the beautiful Bay Area has to offer. I know exactly what I want. I pride myself in knowing how to make a woman happy. I have an intellectual side. Charles Darwin is among my heroes, and I kind of wish David Attenborough was my other grandfather. I believe in chivalry. I don't believe men should use emoticons and that selfies should be reserved for the most desperate of situations. I appreciate spontaneity. I love fun, and I think it’s important to let loose and have/make some as often as we can, no matter what your version of that may be. Smile. Laugh hard and often. I don’t believe in being bored. There’s too much to do, see, create, etc. I’m an identical twin. And yes, we look very much alike.

I’m looking for a partner in crime who also enjoys a healthy mix of epic experiences, random spontaneity, exploring (from food to museums to continents), romance, companionship, stimulating conversation, hysterical laughter, and the occasional glass of wine too many - all, of course, doused liberally in the kind of fun that comes only from spending time with an exceptional match.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Enjoying it. Filling my time with friends, traveling, exploring, new experiences, art, creating, and physical activity, while trying to squeeze in as much fun as I possibly can. Trying to find an app that instantly generates ideas for spontaneous weekend fun or which restaurant to try next.

Professionally, I work at a technology company in Palo Alto. I know, just like everyone else in the Bay Area…boring (just kidding, it’s pretty interesting stuff…ask me about it).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Fun. Eating. Grilling. Falling way behind in personal emails. Packing. Killing time at airports. Slaying dragons. Picking the strangest thing on the menu. Folding laundry (that doesn’t mean I like it). Getting lost. Art, writing, athletics, photography.

If I'm near my twin, that I'm a twin. Or that I look eerily similar to that guy over there...

This is tough. These lists are all drastically abbreviated...

Literature: I read every National Geographic from cover to cover. The Great Gatsby, A Tale of Two Cities, Les Miserables, Enders Game...this list could go on and on, so I'll stop there.

Movies: Shawshank Redemption, Braveheart, Goodwill Hunting, Top Gun, The Matrix, Dumb and Dumber, Gladiator.

Shows: I don't watch much TV, but when I do, it's normally sports, nerdy nature shows, or travel shows.

Music: Tom Petty, Frightened Rabbit, The Killers, Imagine Dragons, Lumineers, Billy Joel, Naked and Famous, Airborne Toxic Event...this list could also go on and on...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to get paid to travel, eat, drink, write, etc., or to just score Anthony Bourdain’s job. Why people stop walking on those moving walkways in airports. Why airports don’t have more power outlets. How awesome a Starbucks delivery business would be. Why car air conditioners still blow air even when they’re switched to “off”. How to make my next weekend different, spontaneous, epic, amazing, random, or any combination of the above. Food. My next trip...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I'll give the typical answer and say I don't have typical Friday nights. They generally involve spending time with friends in one way or another.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I'm embarrassingly dependent on GPS.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
Anything you've read sounds appealing. Extra points if you like the sound of something like, say, renting a car and exploring the countryside of a foreign country, making a list of restaurants and checking them off, road tripping to the nearest national park, or participating in a spontaneous winery crawl. Points deducted if you have any pictures of just your shoes, still don't know the difference between your/you're, they're/there/their, and all the other usual grammar suspects, or you have no pictures with your face in them. Smile, it suits you.
