In short, I write novels. I just finished the second in a series
called The Ronin Saga that is my utter passion. I'm a dreamer, a
bit of a romantic, a workaholic, I'm independent, but ultimately
thrive off good company.
I value generosity, silliness, and people who enjoy the little
things in life.
Car dancing is a past time I'm known for, and I got some sweet
I don't watch TV really, I social media for the book mostly, I can
be a hermit but I like to go out. I dig pool, darts, soccer, etc (I
have a streak in pin-the-tail-on-the donkey that I've yet to lose)
and generally down for anything.
Being active is really important to me; I enjoy running, hiking,
and martial arts. I was a Kung Fu instructor for several years. I
miss it, but plan to go back at least part time once I take a break
in the series (if that ever happens).
All in all, I love trying new things, and so far so good--it's
gotten me into some pretty interesting places and made for great
What I’m doing with my life
In general, I spend a lot of my time shackled behind a computer
spinning worlds. Then I realize what day it is. I scramble to shave
and shower (ideally) and then go to schools, libraries, and the
like to talk to crowds of kids or travel for conventions across the
US and sometimes world to rant about my book and lull people into
the dark world of reading and fantasy. But I love what I do.

The six things I could never do without
Books in general
I guess most things i could do without
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Hmmm, i'd like to say i don't overthink and I'm just constantly in
the moment... alas that's a lie. I have quite a few long term goals
and i contemplate how best to see them done... (the book and my
career, etc), but sometimes I ruminate on natures of the universe,
to how awesome it would be to fly.
On a typical Friday night I am
Sometimes going out, or hanging in--it depends really. Lately I've
been more of a workaholic
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
