Serenity..

Take my love, take my land Take me where I cannot stand I don't care, I'm still free You can't take the sky from me. Take me out to the black Tell them I ain't comin' back Burn the land and boil the sea You can't take the sky from me. Leave the men where they lay They'll never see another day Lost my soul, lost my dream You can't take the sky from me. I feel the black reaching out I hear its song without a doubt I still hear and I still see That you can't take the sky from me. Lost my love, lost my land Lost the last place I could stand There's no place I can be Since I've found Serenity And you can't take the sky from me. Any Firefly fans out there? ;)

Insomnia..

That tricky bastard's got me in his grasp, again.. Sucks, since I've got to be up at 8 am.. Oh, well. I guess I'll turn on Boondock Saints, and see if the background noise of two Irishman going vigilante on some mobsters will lull me to sleep. :)

I never was a morning person..

Now, I can't even seem to stay up until 2 AM.. >.< Guess that's what happens when you gotta wake up at 4 AM for work.. I passed out last night, I'm guessing around 11 PM, and woke up at 4 AM. ON MY DAY OFF.. And since no one else seems to be awake.. There's absolutely nothing to do.. @_@ Oh, well.. Perhaps someone here can provide entertainment?

A Challenge..

Nov 4, 2009

So, I've been thinking rather philosophically, lately, and I noticed something very interesting. The experts of Merriam-Webster define time as, "the measured or measurable period during which an action, process, or condition exists or continues," but if you look up the associated definition of period, you get, "a portion of time determined by some recurring phenomenon." So, basically Merriam-Webster couldn't truly define time.

Here's my challenge. Try to define the word time, without using a variation of time in the definition. It can't be done, but hey.. Maybe someone out there can prove me wrong. :)
