My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi, I'm Cimone. I'm perpetually overdressed for everything and I'm more interested in the bizarre and extreme than anyone should be. I spend more time cultivating my closet than I do my interpersonal relationships, and I figure it's probably time to change that up a bit.

I'm kind of secretly an old lady. I love cats and tapestry, and I crochet myself sweaters. I'm always cold and I'm happiest when I'm reading really boring books about philosophy and linguistics and dumb junk like that curled up under a pile of afghans. I'm also a little bit blind.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right now, I'm taking a break before I head off to law school. I teach at an elementary school, run a hosiery design business with a friend, and dabble in web development and administration. I do a little bit of everything and I love to explore and create!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Pretty much everything- nope, just kidding! Crocheting and speedreading are my only skills.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I love reading- I read a bit of everything! My current favorites are Kripke's Naming and Necessity and Foucalt's Discipline and Punishment. I also love anything by David Lewis. Other favorite authors are Anne Rice, Chuck Palahniuk, David Lewis, and Quine.

As for movies, I love serious science-fiction dramas and historical dramas but again, I'll watch pretty much anything. Primer and Moon are some great recent films, but as long as it's not a Judd Apatow film I'm happy to try it. I also have a serious soft spot for animated children's films.

I'm again kind of all over the place when it comes to shows. I've been watching Supernatural and Parks and Recreation lately, but Battlestar Galactica (both the old AND new versions!) is probably my favorite.

I'm not as into music as I used to be, but I still listen to a lot of it. I don't like country much but I love rap and pop (yes, even the mainstream crap) along with classical music and even a little bit of prog-rock sometimes. I love old composers like Tchaikovsky and Prokofiev but I also listen to a lot of newer music. Prince, Knife Party, KARA, Perfume, Tiesto, Neutral Milk Hotel, Beck, The Sealions, Capsule, and MSTRKRFT are some of my current favorites.

When it comes to food, I'm kind of a picky eater. I love love love bacon but I absolutely do not eat cheese, seafood, or anything that is remotely spicy or tart. Honestly, I subsist mainly on a diet of steaks, fruits, and desserts. Vegetarian and vegan fare isn't my normal thing but I'm happy to try it.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Computers, toothbrushes, cake.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Lately it's been prison system reform (literally no good reason for this; it's just been on my mind), but I also spend a lot of time thinking about lesson plans and grading, and new illustration ideas. I also spend a disproportionate amount of time coming up with new ways to photoshop narwhals into pictures with other narwhals.

I love an attractive guy but appearances are secondary in my book. I'm happy to hang out with any guy who is open and willing to have fun discussions. We don't have to agree on everything (and honestly, I doubt that we will!), but as long as you're okay with having a civil discussion and don't mind me poking fun at you a bit, we will probably get along just fine.

You can chat about metaphysics and formal logic. Not necessary, but it's a nice bonus.

You're honest about your intentions. It's fine if you're just looking for a fling, but please say so up front.

Please don't message me if you are an MRA, use the term "feminazi" often, believe you or whites you know have been adversely affected by racism, and/or you believe fedoras are appropriate for every situation.
