I'm a Southern California beach boy and would not have wanted it any other way. I love spending time outside, on the sand, on the water, in the mountains, some place that's a bit more real and awesome.

I'm here in the present while being mindful about the future, but not tripping on it or stressing about what it might or might not bring. Just trying to find my place and make it my own. I've got my BA in History from UCLA, and am super grateful for having worked with the incredible academics in that department. I visit art galleries and museums just because it always is a great escape. I love to be outdoors, spending time at the beach or a few hours hiking. Cycling up and down the beach, from Santa Monica to Redondo Beach and back again. Shopping for guitars I plan on adding to my quiver at some point. Collecting records and checking out bands that know what it means to entertain and enrich. Shopping for some new sunglasses

I absolutely love music and playing guitar. I'm currently listening to Oasis, The Beatles, Beach Boys, Radiohead, The Verve, Kasabian, Refused, Underoath, Glassjaw, Deftones, Senses Fail, Arctic Monkeys, Happy Mondays, Friendly Fires, Beastie Boys, Circa Survive, Deftones, Foo Fighters, The Horrors, Nirvana, Queens of the Stone Age, Frank Sinatra, Miles Davis, Otis Redding, The Stone Roses, Biggie Smalls, Jay Z, Deadmau5, the list goes on and on and on.

I'm into movies much more than TV, even though I do like Mad Men, SNL and whatever is on Paladia and Comedy Central. The Godfather I and II, Casablanca, Goodfellas and most any Scorsese movie, Weird Science, The Breakfast Club, This Is Spinal Tap, Alien, Aliens, Alien 3, Predator, Bladerunner, Casino, Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas, Donnie Brasco, Romeo + Juliet, Pinocchio, The Sword in the Stone, Lady and the Tramp, Inception, Citizen Kane, Fight Club, Snatch, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Indiana Jones flicks, Star Wars (4,5,6), Back To The Future, Ghostbusters, I'll just keep adding to this as I recall them.

Food is something that I'm very fond of and love to try new things in that department. I'm Italian so I've always got a taste for that, as long as it's done right and doesn't totally suck. I love Japanese, Chinese, Thai, French, Fusion, whatever really, always into trying new things.

To be honest, it's been quite a while since I've read a book, probably a year or so. I love Hemingway and I've got a copy of The Sun Also Rises on my nightstand. James Michener is another favorite author. I'm meaning to get around to reading The Prince as well as The Art of War, been a while since I've been through those.

There is truly nothing I need, only what I desire. The world is filled with people comparing themselves to others, creating twisted delusions of deficits and inadequacies, and living in fear as a result. I am not the former. Here, instead, are some things that make me happy:
