The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't think people usually notice me at all. I'm bizarrely invisible like that. I believe I'm reasonably attractive, but not in a way that smacks anyone in the face. My personality isn't like that either.

On a first date a woman is most likely to notice my eyes and my voice. I've received many compliments on those features. Secondary things would be that I am witty, imaginative, direct, and that I'm not one to conform to social conventions.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I read quite a bit, but I don't read books. (For me, the Internet has replaced them.) I like any genre of film as long as it is well made and/or thought provoking... and I'm very snobby about this. I tend to prefer independent films. I'm not sure why but I've stopped listening to music. I used to listen to music in the car, but now I hardly drive at all, which may have something to do with it. I don't like having music on in the background because I find it makes it difficult for me to think clearly, and I like thinking - a lot. I love food of almost all kinds. I prefer full flavor over bland. I like cooking. I prefer home cooking over restaurant food.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Oxygen, water... oh the hilarity! I'm so glad I thought of this before everyone else did.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Worker placement. Role Selection. Simultaneous Action Selection. Hidden, Open, Perfect and Imperfect Information. Engine Building. Story Arc. Auctions. Trading. Drafting. Cooperation and Competition. Tile Placement. Hand Management. Set Collection. Area Control and Influence. Variable Player Powers. The Agonizing Decision.

If anyone I know in "real life" finds this there is a good chance they'll know what I'm talking about. And think I'm a huge dork for writing it here.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
...pretty worn out from the week - and on Saturday morning I need to wake up and make breakfast for my son - so Friday night is never "party time" for me. Every other Saturday night I have guests come to my house for board games.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I do not "know how to have a good time." I will greatly appreciate it if someone will refer me to a trade school or similar institution where I may obtain this highly coveted skill set.

Also I've had vasectomy.
