My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Love's a precarious journey. I've almost given up a few times, but I guess I'm still holding out hope that someone's out there who will be the yin to my yang...
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm quite the least at this point in my life. I make my living as a structural engineer (I basically do math all day), but my passion is writing. I write music, poetry, short stories, children's books, and anything else I can think of. I spend a lot of time with my guitar and jamming out with friends. Hopefully one day I can quit my day job and pursue the writing and music gig full time.

If you feel like checking out my music, you can go to :) I'd be honored
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I suppose I'm good at dodging questions that are designed to make me look like a conceited ass. And I'm good at being awesome...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I love classic literature. Oscar Wilde, William Shakespeare, Charles Dickens, Aldous Huxley. I'm known to frequent thrift stores and used book stores looking for new material. I'm fully ok admitting that I read the Hunger Games trilogy, and that I enjoyed it thoroughly. I wish I had more time to read, but I manage to squeeze in some. The current result is a very large library of great literature that I'll read "someday".

Some favs: American Beauty, Moulin Rouge & Romeo+Juliet. I also really enjoy superhero/comic book movies. The Dark Night, The Avengers, and X-Men. If you're excited that Spidey is finally home, we'll definitely get along :)

I've had only Netflix for quite a while now. I have to say I watch way too much Criminal Minds. Dexter was incredible, and Breaking Bad was as intense as it gets. In keeping with the comic book theme, I also enjoy Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Arrow, and The Flash. And if you know what Mystery Science Theater is, you have my attention.

Music's all over the place for me. Everything from old school country (not into newer stuff so much) to hip hop. I tend to listen to mostly bluesy rock and indie music. The Black Keys, The Civil Wars The Avett Brothers, Tom Waits, The White Stripes, and William Elliot Whitmore. But my roots are firmly planted in Johhny Cash and Willie Nelson.

I love food. I am a former vegetarian, and I completely get that lifestyle, plus there's nothing better to get you out of your rut with food than a major diet change like that. I love creating new recipes and trying new foods. Indian food is incredible (and I never would have tried it before going veg). I also love good barbecue (particularly a pulled pork sandwich), and good carne asada is a big weakness. Basically, I love the little family-owned restaurants, and luckily I live in a place that's flooded with them. My all time favorite food, however, is pizza, and before you judge my boring taste, check out Garage Brewery in Temecula. You can thank me later.

And then there's beer. I love how many microbreweries are popping up. Trying new beers is one of my favorite things to do (you've been properly warned).
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Oh we go:

1. The possibility of love
2. The hope of happiness
3. Feeling the full spectrum of emotion
4. Experiencing life completely
5. Creating new relationships
6. Something to write on to articulate #1-5

(And my guitar)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Well, truth be told I think a lot about life. The meaning of life. Whether there is such a thing as a soul mate. Why people believe what they believe. I like to ask honest questions and then travel down the path as far as possible to arrive at an honest answer.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Having fun. Sometimes partying, sometimes just being alone and writing whatever pops into my head. I typically have my kiddos, so I do a lot of movie nights and minecraft marathons.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Well I'm definitely seeking passion and romance, hopelessly and probably always. Love and I have seen some dark times, but it seems impossible to not still crave it.

If you're seeking passion and laughter and aren't afraid of kids. I have two. They're much cooler than I am.
