My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Former musician and luthier, present melomaniac. Valiant knight of software development. Passion-driven entrepreneur and hobbyist long-distance runner.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
● Teaching machines to read human mind and speak human language for a living.
● Starting ridiculous ventures and desperate businesses.
● Gradually preparing myself for a full IRONMAN.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Telling stories and explaining things, motivating people, cheering my friends up with ridiculously stupid stories of my life and really, REALLY bad poetry (you have no idea).
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
How fast I run from them. Oh, and social anxiety.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I’m usually most impressed by the last book I finished, so right now I’m a fan of Yukio Mishima. My other favorite writers are Sasha Sokolov and Daniel Harms.

My favorite book of all time is "A School for Fools" by Sokolov.

Movies are not my thing; I can enjoy a good movie, but I can't say movies have a special place in my live. Still, my favorites are Brazil, Full Metal Jacket, The Deer Hunter, AKIRA and Spirited Away.

I have quite a broad "taste" in music and can enjoy almost anything — from Stravinsky's "The Rite of Spring" and up to the screams of dying opossums.

Though, I can roughly divide the music I like in two groups — "modern jazz" and "everything else".

Here goes the first group: GoGo Penguin, Portico Quartet, Leszek Możdżer, and, of course, Esbjörn Svensson Trio. That was the light stuff. Here goes the heavy one: The Bad Plus, Pink Freud, Sons of Kemet.

Moving on to the "everything else" category. I generally love guitar music, whether it’s a relatively soft rock (The Growlers, Beardfish), or extreme metal (Cloudkicker, Woods of Desolation). I also am fond of retro electro and the "80s sound" (Lazerhawk, Miami Nights 1984, Anoraak).

My all time favorite song is Полоса неудач by Вежливый Отказ. My second favorite song is Temporary Peace by Anathema.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Stupid jokes, interesting job, smartphone stuffed with music, safety razor (my beard is awful), nice clothing and a good watch on my wrist.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Hexaflexagons, what else?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Developing something. Usually it's software, sometimes it's an alcohol addiction.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm terrible at icebreakers. Seriously, it's more likely that I'll solve a Millennium Prize Problem than come up with a good opening message on OkCupid.

You've been warned.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
I accept any kind of messages, including, but not limited to, one-liners in poor English, one-liners in poor Russian, compliments about my appearance, insults about my appearance, penis jokes (these ones are my favorites) and even accusations of extorting money for charity.

Jokes aside, message me if you're looking for a hangout/drinking buddy.
