My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a movie buff and love movie trivia. I'd rather watch a classic b&w film than a summer blockbuster but I do enjoy both.
I love maps and have them all over the walls in my room. It kind of makes me look like a conspiracy theorist. I wish I had more money to travel but I do it as much as I can.
I own two bobbleheads: Freud and Han Solo.
My favorite color is red, and it is apparent in a lot of the things I own.
I majored in psychology and loved it but it causes some difficulty in searching for a career!
I am more superstitious than I like to admit.
I would still like to attend Hogwarts if it were a real school.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm an assistant pre-k teacher and I love it!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Solving half a rubix cube from memory.
Useless trivia.
Taking blurry pictures.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Apparently that I'm a bit like Jess from the New Girl, though I so was quirky and awkward before it was a thing. I've also been compared to Kristin Wiig's character from Bridesmaids. I feel like the more I mature (read: get older) the closer I get to being compared to Tina Fey, which would be a win.

*book- I read a new book every 2 months for a book club! My favorite so far was The Kitchen House.
*movie- too many to decide (see below)
*TV- I just caught up on both seasons of Revenge (only took me 3 weeks...) and can't wait for the upcoming season!
*music- Rogue Wave and Josh Ritter
*food- Probably unagi (eel) sushi? I like southern food, too.

Also worth mentioning:
*Music: Mumford, Tallest Man on Earth, Modest Mouse, Sufjan Stevens, Tchaikovsky, Thomas Newman, Tinariwen, the Civil Wars, and a lot of Top 40 songs.

*Movies: The ‘Burbs, Indiana Jones & the Temple of Doom (though nobody agrees with me!), the original Star Wars trilogy, Jurassic Park, Kicking and Screaming (not the Will Ferrell one), Layer Cake, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, A Night at the Opera, Rear Window, Stardust, Clue, Alice in Wonderland (the original animated Disney one), Arsenic and Old Lace, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, Double Indemnity, Annie Hall, In Bruges, The Man Who Came to Dinner, The Princess Bride, Super Troopers, and pretty much all Pixar movies.

*TV shows: Sherlock, X-Files, Lost, Pushing Daisies, Heroes, Law and Order, Battlestar Galactica, Firefly, Glee, Party Down, Weeds, How I Met Your Mother, and the Guild. Also Wendy Williams and Craig Ferguson (he read my email on the show once!).

*Books: Sherlock Holmes (any), Harry Potter, the Hobbit, Jurassic Park, and Rilke (the only poet I really like...)
