My self-summary
I am and avid movie watcher and love movie trivia. I'd rather watch a classic b&w film than a summer blockbuster but I do enjoy both.

I am a bit obsessed with crossword puzzles edited by Will Shortz (NY Times).

I wish I had more money/time to travel but I do it as much as I can.

I own two bobbleheads: Freud and Han Solo.

I majored in psychology and loved it but it causes some difficulty in searching for a career!

I would still like to attend Hogwarts if it were a real school.
What I’m doing with my life
I've been in a variety of jobs within the field of education...currently working as a social research assistant doing learning assessments with kids in elementary schools around Georgia and I love it!
I’m really good at
Solving half a rubix cube from memory.
Useless trivia.
Taking blurry pictures.
The first things people usually notice about me
Apparently that I'm a bit like Jess from the New Girl. I like to think that I have more self-awareness than she does, but I am definitely a pretty awkward person.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
*book- The Circle by Dave Eggers
*movie- The Force Awakens
*TV- BBC detective shows and Making a Murderer

Also worth mentioning:
*Movies: Jurassic Park, The ‘Burbs, Indiana Jones (my fave is Temple of Doom though nobody agrees with me!), the original Star Wars trilogy + the Force Awakens, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, A Night at the Opera, Rear Window, Double Indemnity, In Bruges, The Man Who Came to Dinner, Joe Versus the Volcano, Clue, Princess Bride, and pretty much all Pixar movies.

*TV shows: Sherlock, X-Files, Lost, Pushing Daisies, Heroes, Law & Order, Battlestar Galactica, Party Down, How I Met Your Mother. Also Craig Ferguson back when he was a late night host (he read my email on the show once!).

*Books: Sherlock Holmes (any), Harry Potter, the Hobbit, Jurassic Park, travel memoirs, British mysteries, and Rilke (the only poet I really like)

*Food: I eat pretty much everything. Mostly cheese.
The six things I could never do without
-my friends
-my sense of sight!
-alone time
-my iPhone
I spend a lot of time thinking about
anything and everything. I'm constantly getting lost in my thoughts.
On a typical Friday night I am
either sitting at home on my computer, watching something on Netflix, or out with friends (typically to a restaurant/bar).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm afraid of ants...long story.

I love maps and used to have them all over the walls in my room. It kind of made me look like a conspiracy theorist.
You should message me if
you know the lyrics to "You're the Cream in My Coffee".
