My name is Kaitlyn, I use British spellings, and my family is Scottish/Irish.

I'm unique, open-minded, and love reading, writing, playing Lord of the Rings Online, traveling, hiking, and adventures. I love animals and children (though I don't want to have any kids of my own...at least not by birth), and I have somewhat odd opinions and beliefs, depending on who you ask.

I left high school because I was at a tiny Christian school and getting nothing out of it. I homeschooled myself and have yet to graduate/get a GED. I have a Tumblr and am on it almost as much as I'm on Lord of the Rings Online :)

I am a fangirl, and proud of the insanity that comes with it! :)

I hope to publish a book...or several. I'd love to one day work in a museum and someday I hope to travel all over the world.

Right now I'm trying to get a job while writing a book. Well, several books actually.

Books: Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, The Giver, The Underland Chronicles, and The Hunger Games series. I mostly read children's books; I find adult novels irritating and I hate the romance forced into the young-adult/teenage genre.

Movies: Brave, LOTR, Matilda, Harry Potter, National Treasure, LOTR, Boot Camp, and the Avengers.

Shows: BBC's Sherlock and Merlin, Doctor Who, Supernatural, Seinfeld.

Music: One Direction (yes really).

Food: ALL FOOD IS GOOOOD

My family, my computer, at least a couple of books, internet access, and my medicine :)

Weird stuff like 'what if we're all actually cookies and we don't know it', the universe, traveling,writing, food, television shows and books I like, and my blog.

Relaxing since the kids (my niece and nephew, that is) are gone for the weekend. I'm not all that exciting :/
