Hey, I'm Will.

I just moved out to SF as a transplant from NYC, and so far I like it, almost more than expected. In my first week I got to sing Karaoke, cook for 16, swim in Lake Tahoe (sooo cold in March), catch the last BART one night, officiate a regatta on the bay, got an album signed at the Great American Ballroom, can't want to see what's next...

I'm an inherently curious, far from normal, creative, dedicated, geeky, passionate, and enthusiastic guy. I like to think big and dream. Passion is one of the the most important things to me, so I hope you've got the bug too.

I'm one of those people that's done a little bit of a lot a bit, and often obscure: glass blowing, harpsichord repairing, 1800's schooner deck handing, down hill unicycling, handset printing, modern dancing, slack lining... I like to do new and different things, and I always want to try it myself.

Music has always been in my life. I've been trying to make it for years (singing, piano, guitar) though who's to say I'm any good and I'm missing my old roommate a baby grand piano.

Too many things all at once, and I would't change a thing. I founded a startup that lets anyone read with their ears, think Pandora for blogs or digital newspapers. I get to mix of so many of my interests, design, music, sound, engineering, so I'm incredibly lucky.

Hokey quote that actually sums up life quite well - "The walls between art and engineering exist only in our minds."

Getting excited and passonate, knowing how to fix and build things, and cooking for big groups. Let me cook for 12 and I'm a happy camper. And I can overtone like the best of 'em.

That I'll often have a pant leg rolled up or helmet clipped to my bag as I ride my bike just about everywhere. Also my red beard tends to be quite obvious.

Books: The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time was the most recent and fascinating, but I actually more web content that books.

Shows: Breaking Bad, Archer, John Doe (if you know the show you must be cool), Downton Abby. Been to busy recently to catch much else other than occasional Hulu.

Movies: I Love movies, I've managed to build screening rooms in the last 3 places I've lived, 1/2 for movies, rest because I love to build. I always find something I like in a movie, it's also the industry my 'rents were in so I've seen a lot. I must have seen the Back to the Future movies more times that I can count and I actually loved Love Actually.

Music: It's always playing around me, but I'm horrible at remembering artists. According to LastFM my top artists are: Coldplay, Chicane, Andrew Bird, Dave Matthews Band, Daft Punk, Ben Folds, Radiohead, Cream, Norah Jones, ATB, Sting, John Mayer, 4 Strings, Buddha-Bar, Yo-Yo Ma, Editors... the list goes on for a while...

Food: Indian, most ethnic foods and anything flavorful. Home cooked food wins without question though. I'm glutarded (gluten free), so it's been fun discovering new kinds of food and ways to cook.

Music: Keeps me going.
Food: I love to eat & cook.
Family and Friends: I'm social.
Technology: I'm a geek and love it.
Passion: Got to be drivin by something.
Design: May have organized this list to align.
