My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm just this guy, you know?

I'm in Manhattan – living in soho – for three months, doing this nerd retreat thing. I'm pretty excited, and will probably spend most days jibber jabbering with other nerds about silly things like computers and electricity.

Weekends and nights are a different story. I'm planning on having as many crazy adventures as possible. You might not be the kind of person who likes to jibber jabber about computers and electricity, but you should at least be the kind of person who likes to jibber jabber about something.

I'm from the East Bay originally, and I might go back there after the program is over.

Honestly, I'm open to a lot of things. I'd love to meet new friends for platonic exploration of New York. I'd also love to meet friends who would like to be more than friends, for not so platonic adventures. I'm also tired of being single, so if the stars align, I would love finding a partner for life.

The only thing I'm not looking for is ambiguous relationships. I've had enough of those. I'll always tell you what I'm thinking and where I see our relationship going, and I'll always expect that you'll do the same for me.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I used to be a software engineer at a large and respectable company that makes things that start with the letter G, but I started dreaming of making amazing things that started with other letters, so I had to leave all that behind.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Linear algebra, dancing, and writing computer programs that pretend to be human.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Crazy eyes.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Iced tea, creative outlets, cheap thrills, something to stress over, technology, and pandas.

(Just kidding about the last one, I hate pandas. Most. Useless. Animals. Ever. Foul tempered, lazy, and have a diet so nutritionally deficient that they have to spend all day every day stuffing their fat faces or they'll starve. Also, they can't even seem to get it together to breed successfully without our help. WTF.)

Exceptions: Tarepanda, red pandas.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Everything.

You know that moss that hangs from tree limbs, called elephant snot by some?

When I was young, I thought it was dried up seaweed. I assumed, quite logically I think, that the world must once have been deep underwater.

So yeah, that kind of stuff.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The first time I ever cried at a movie was during Ghost Dad with Bill Cosby, when he was, you know, un-ghostified and reunited with his kids.
