Geeky women make me swoon. Honestly though you could extend that to anyone that embraces their eccentricities or is just generally passionate about something they love.

I've got a pretty offbeat, sometimes sarcastic, sometimes dark sense of humor and I've gotten better lately about cutting down on pop culture references (my references are out of control, everyone knows that)

I live for making and enjoying music, and though it's been too long to really consider myself a singer anymore it's always on my mind and I try to keep my voice in shape.

I dabble in photography, but I never considered myself more than amateur photographer, and I've been slowly cutting back on expensive gear that wasn't seeing much use.

I enjoy fancy beers and though my favorites change daily, but I'll try anything once and suggestions are always welcome. Believe me though, I'm perfectly happy with a Lonestar or Tecate in my hand. Also bourbon, lots of bourbon.

My favorite activity is restaurant roulette, I make it a point of trying new food or a new restaurant as often as possible and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I want to be Andrew Zimmern one day (minus the crippling drug addiction) and I'll put literally anything edible in my mouth.

I'm a big believer in intelligent design, and by that I mean I love IKEA.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Got a CS degree at UT, now working in game development and hoping that I made the right choice trading money for passion. The idea was to make sure I don't end up reenacting Office Space and so far it's going pretty well.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Singing, though maybe not a style you'd be interested in hearing. Someday if I'm still in Austin I think I'll try for Conspirare, a lofty goal for sure but I miss being a small piece of a massive harmony
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
headstrong and cocksure

or is it the other way around?

Been reading a lot of pop biographies lately, and I recently finished American on Purpose and Bossypants (Tina Fey's book and absolutely hilarious). Currently in the midst of ASOIAF, message me if you want to talk about R + L = J. My favorite book is and always will be Sideways Stories from Wayside School

When I'm feeling geeky I'll bust out The Silmarillion, or something from any sci-fi Golden Age authors (Asimov, Bradbury, Clarke) or more modern ones like Philip K, Dick, Atwood, Le Guin etc.

As far as food goes, if it won't physically harm me I will try it (see: scorpion shot). I couldn't live without seafood, and my absolute favorite restaurant is Justine's
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

bacon and bacon flavored products
a good pair of headphones
the perfect bloody mary
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.

sometimes I wonder what the world would be like if it was possible and even fashionable for women to grow full and lush handlebar mustaches
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
maybe out, but if I'm in it's really not the end of the world.

Depends on the friends I'm with, but I frequent draught house (the pub not the theater) and the east side. If it's up to me, Side Bar -> Barbarella or a master pancake show.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I sing pop songs to cats with some of the lyrics replaced with kitty, fluffy, whiskers, precious, chubby, etc etc.

Once I came home drunk and made jorts with my elementary school safety scissors.
