My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hey, my name is Scott, nice to meet ya. Was a member awhile back then got bored of the site, now I am back. Just looking to expand my circle, grab a beer maybe, nothing serious. If something does come of this then so be it.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Just got a new job! Yay! Building stuff in "the cloud" and junk. Good times.

Working mostly, unfortunately. Guess I like living indoors too much to stop. When I'm not working I am nerding out because I am a dork non-stop, 24/7. Oh yeah.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Fixing and breaking computers and such, punching and kicking, aka martial arts, video games
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
From the back I look like *insert random bald dude here*....
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Catcher in the Rye, HP Lovecraft, Steinbeck, Hemingway, Neal Stephenson, William Gibson

Movies: Most anything with Al Pacino/De Niro, old samurai, lots of sci-fi, trashy 80's movies (especially with the Rat Pack), also anything from the golden age of film making (30's-50's)

Shows: Whatever the Netflix gods command me to watch. Besides that.. Breaking Bad, Dexter, Archer, Arrested Development, Mst3k and I like britcoms like The Office, IT crowd, Monty Python. Also shows like luther and sherlock.

Music: Tastes are largely varied, ranging from punk to (old) metal to reggae to classical to industrial to 80's and so on and so forth. Joy Division, David Bowie, Nick Cave, Tom Waits, Lou Reed, Iggy Pop, The Smiths, and The Clash are a few favorites.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Martial arts: learning, teaching, watching, everything. They have provided me with the self-confidence that I lacked in my school days and made me the man I am today.

Besides that all the normal stuff. And gadgets. Love me some gadgetry.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Gadgets. I am an IT nerd after all. That and myself in sci-fi and video game type adventures. The real world gets boring, tbh.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Nothing exciting, usually. Unless spending time watching movies with a feline companion is exciting to anyone? Sometimes I go out but I get anxious around large groups so I tend to avoid packed loud places.

You aren't looking for mr. right or else even mr. right now (aka the hookup). I think that sites like these are good for developing bonds with those with similar interests and growing your circle of friends. If a stronger bond develops later, so be it.

But if you are shallow enough to believe you know a person from a few carefully selected snapshots and short blurbs about bands, food and activities then move along. You may be a shallow person and no room for those in my life.

Also no pretentious douchenozzles, please.
