I'm a young guy, working in the city, trying to make new friends and meet new people. My family is from India, but I was born and raised in NY. A lot of my friends growing up were asian so I share a lot of their preferences(ex. food, anime, etc). My friends are either still in school or too busy with work to hang out. Most of the time I'm ridiculously bored and willing to hang out. I'm looking for people to go and explore NY with or just chill and play some games/ watch a movie.

I'm in my second year at a large consulting firm. I'm focused on IT/physical security projects. I've got my masters so I'm done with school...for now at least. I'm hoping to build up miles/points and travel more. I really want to visit Japan and see more of Europe.

Wasting time and accomplishing nothing ; ) I'm a good listener and great at providing snarky comments.

In terms of appearance, there are usually three things: how short I am, how young I look (I try to leave some stubble so I look older nowadays) and my eyes (I have hazel eyes). Personality-wise, I'm usually pretty quiet when I first meet someone, unless I'm with someone I know. In that case all bets are off, I'll usually come off as a dorky idiot but entertaining at least.

Books: I pretty much only read fiction. Some favorites include: The Alchemist, Enders Game Series, The Dark Tower Series, The White Tiger, Dresden Files and of course Harry Potter.
Movies:The Usual Suspects, Fight Club, Toy Story, Lion King, Toy Story, Shawshank Redemption, I'm probably leaving out a ton..oh and anything by Nolan
Shows: I don't watch much but here are some that I like...The daily show, community, arrested development, the walking dead, breaking bad
Music: uh...I really don't know. I honestly pretty much enjoy everything and it also depends on my mood.
Food: Again I enjoy everything. A really good steak is nice once in a while and I like going out for dim sum every once in a while. Korean restaurants are probably my favorite ( who can say no to free appetizers and bulgogi) , then there is mexican, italian, cuban....man I'm hungry...

mostly about life, religion, psychology, and would be like if i was smarter/taller/spiderman/ironman/an actor/a singer/a ninja/a pirate/godzilla/in love/out for revenge/etc.

either grabbing some drinks with coworkers, watching a movie, or being bored.

is that I'm so lonely and bored, somebody please save me.

You want to hang out (guy or girl) and have fun and help me cross out items in my stuff to do in NYC list. Sure, I'm looking for a relationship, which is my primary reason for being here, but there's no reason I can't make some good friends as well.
