My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I never know how to summarize myself, so instead I'll throw out a bunch of facts:

\My new year's resolution is to read every night before I go to bed. So far it's been biographies and comic books.
\ENTJ. Another time it was ESTP. I don't fucking know.
\Running is a form of meditation for me.
\I built my computer. It's a lot easier than it sounds.
\I make my own granola bars.
\I'm fascinated by stories of cannibalism.
\I have recurring dreams.
\You want to know what they are.
\I draw! Sometimes paint.
\I LOVE onions. If I have nothing to put the onion on, I'll just eat it.
\I brush my teeth. Just to clarify that last one.
\I firmly believe obeying the law is the only way to truly succeed.
\...but I also think those who are happiest are rule-breakers.
\I like to sit back and watch things unfold from afar. The only time I move first is when I have a sword in my hand (keep reading).
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
During the day I work with nerdy kids. At night I hang out with nerdy grown-ups.

Sometimes I feel like dropping everything to go do something crazy, like move to a different country. Maybe Japan, become a game show host. Or help demine abandoned minefields somewhere. (Possibly combine the two?)

When time permits, I enjoy: making art, making noise, making the world a better place, making a sandwich, making people laugh (often on accident), meeting new people, trying new ice cream flavors, and playing video games until my thumbs yell at me.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I don't like being "good" at anything—it means I'm too comfortable or I've stopped learning. As soon as I feel that, I bump up the difficulty or move on. I guess this makes me capricious and a bit attention-deficit. But there are a few staples in my life: comedy, games, art, food. Not saying I'm good at them, but I'm familiar.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Honestly not sure what people notice about me. Probably my lip rings when I have them in.

film---
Comedy, drama, horror... A little bit of everything. I appreciate an unknown indie as much as a huge blockbuster, as long as it's thoughtful and well done. Kill Bill, Donnie Darko, Metropolis, Bridesmaids, Black Swan, Gravity, Blindness, Magnolia, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Silent House, You're Next, The Descent, Memento, Welcome to the Dollhouse, Blade Runner, Jurassic Park

tv---
Mad Men, The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Archer, Parks and Recreation, Children's Hospital, Broad City, Inside Amy Schumer, Nathan For You

games---
Oof, I could go on for awhile. All-time favorites: The Last of Us, Half-Life, Final Fantasy VIII, BioShock Infinite, LA Noire, Mass Effect, Dark Souls, Fallout 3, Silent Hill 2, Shadow of the Colossus, Katamari Damacy

music---
Eclectic, but notables include Queens of the Stone Age, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Silversun Pickups, Garbage, St. Vincent, Anamanaguchi, Ratatat, Starfucker, RJD2, Sleigh Bells, Frank Ocean, Royksopp, Peggy Lee, Nat King Cole, Claude Debussy, Mozart, other classical/romanticist, latin jazz, mid-20th jazz era, chip tunes, game and film scores

podcasts---

food---
Persian, Greek, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, African, anything really. I have a pretty big sweet tooth for ice cream, cream pies, and most anything with chocolate, peanut butter, or mint.

outdoorsy stuff---
running, swimming, martial arts, gymnastics
Fencing is my all-time favorite sport (and the only one I've ever been decent at). Something about the psychology of the game mixed with fast reflexes just fits me. Try it—it's fun to get points for stabbing people.

art---
Wacom, graphite, charcoal, gouache, Photoshop
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
internet, wildlife, notebook, potatoes, ludology, and time to smell the fresh mint (I don't really like roses.)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
> how my workout regime would change if a shark bit off one of my legs
> the uneven distribution of wealth around the world
> what certain scenes of my life would look like in music video form
> why people get so hung up on the little things
> pixels
> my grocery list
> if I should make a fun, eccentric OkCupid profile, or one that more accurately describes how ordinary I am
> if I should delete my OkCupid profile
> what Bill Cosby's OkCupid profile would look like
> what Bill Cosby orders at Chipotle
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Most likely at a comedy show, at a bar with friends, sketchbooking in a coffeshop, or basking in the comforting glow of a video game.
Or maybe trying something new: club, recipe, hobby. I try to use the little free time I have for adventure. Life's too short to only watch reruns.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I keep underwear until it gets holey, and then I'll keep wearing it.
