Hehehe... I am awesome.

I am a very blunt and straight forward person with a big heart. I am usually affectionate and I make it a point to let people in my life know how awesome they are and how grateful I am for their presence. I try to be a resource for my community as much as I can, and lend a helping hand to others. I thrive on cooperation and mutual support.

I love science and medicine (mostly herbal/oriental/alternative medicine)! I try to learn as much knowledge as I can, and enjoy learning new things. I can also be really goofy and silly. I am a total nerd and an adventurous fun pop-star in one. I know how to rock hiking boots as well as a sexy dress.

Also- I guess it's better for me to mention this in the beginning - I am in a serious open relationship with someone. My partner knows and is OK with me dating other people, and you must feel comfortable with this too.

I define myself as a queer, and even though I am attracted to all genders, at this stage of my life I am interested mostly in dating other queers or members of the GBLTQ community (sorry if I missed some letters there). I would love to make friends with straight folks though, especially ones who are interested in rock climbing, science or herbal medicine.

I am a graduate student at UNC. Right now I am studying the hard sciences, but I used to study art, philosophy and social sciences. I rock climb and love outdoor activities and sport. There is something so amazing about just being outside, and discovering how strong your body really is. I like dancing and drawing comic. I like art and science generally speaking, and love having deep conversions about anything really.

I love Dostoevsky. I like reading radical literature (bell hooks, Eating Animals, etc.). I like really silly movies (The new Star Trek, Love Actually), but also foreign films (The Wind that Shakes the Barely, Ajami). I like all genres of music, but am very particular about the specific bands i like in each genre. I am a vegan, so vegan food is preffered. I love middle eastern and Ethiopian food.

the world. It really saddens me how everyone I know are struggling to survive, and how much cruelty and pain exists. I strive to change things around me so we could all stop surviving and start living. I want to create utopia in the here and now.
