Atheism and it’s important
My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I like Zen a lot... and climbing.

I'm an ISTP - mechanic / optimizer personality type, so I'm usually thinking of how to fix / improve things.

An important note to get out up front, I'm not into romantic exclusivity. I'm not averse to commitment or anything like that. I'm deeply committed to the well-being of all of the people I care about. I just don't want to ask people not to act on their romantic feelings for people just because we have romantic feelings for each other and vice versa.

I'm almost always completely honest. I love truth and just can't respect those who don't. Science is the bomb diggity. (whimsy fail?)

I'm a student of human nature. I find people fascinating, especially their beliefs. Hence, my passion for psychology and philosophy. Most conversations I have end up meandering back to one or both of (often the interaction between) them.

I'm a Secular Humanist and I take Philosophy and the notion of the good life very seriously. I firmly believe that pretty much everyone wants to lead the good life, and that gives me tremendous hope.

I love to discuss / debate religious, broader philosophical, political, and social topics in a collaborative, friendly way and I do so as often as possible.

Politically I'm definitely an independent, though that label is quite dilute.

I really want to help make the world a better place. I try not to be cynical.

MacGyver and Captain Picard are my heroes. Oh, and the four horsemen... love them all (especially Sam, though).

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am a comics store. Well, I have a business selling comics online. If you want comics, I can probably help you out. Also, I make my own schedule completely.

I climb things; mostly rocks, but other things as well.

I'm much more interested in being a kind of person than in doing or having a list of things. Not that I don't like doing things, I do.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Empathy, conversation, analysis, advising, argument, inquiry, playing music, encouragement, but mostly just listing my skills. ;)
The first things people usually notice about me

I'm 6'3". I'm skinny. I'm curious. I talk about ideas a lot. I wear a lot of black, but not in a cheezy way. Seriously, people notice the lack of cheeziness.
