I was born near Chicago, Illinois. Had a good time rooting for the Bulls from ages 0 to 8. Moved to Connecticut after that. My cat died and I was very sad. We watched Voayage of the Mimi in fifth grade and studied whales. Nothing too important happened in middle school. Then I went to a nice New England boarding school in high school where I discovered or rediscovered the joys of music, especially the piano, which has remained a major part of my life (until recently). In college I studied a wide variety of subjects but managed to avoid acquiring any marketable or even useful skills. Spent two years working as a teacher, and then moved to SF where I completed 3 years of law school while secretly focusing more on having a good time than school. That pretty much sums me up.

Personality wise - I tend to be on the quieter/ shy side in groups, but I am easy to talk one-on-one because I like to get to know people and hear their feelings about pretty much anything. Relatively for a guy, I tend to be on the emotional side, but I am also pretty tough (see last photo), so don't expect me to cry all over the place or have drama. I'm a nice guy pretty much just looking to have fun and learn.

I am working part time at the SF District Attorney's office, where I help to fight crime. Its a temporary job to keep me busy until I start my permanent full time job at a big law firm in the city. In my (ample) free time I am training for and competing in fighting competitions, such as juijitsu and mma. Other than that, I like to watch TV and movies and experience SF.

I strive to be really good at modesty. But here is a list of interests I like to do, without any representation as to how good I am at them (in fact I am bad at some). singing, massages, seeing the city, exercise, music, origami, nintendo, eating, drinking, watching tv, sleeping, especially napping.

Food: ice cream, sushi, pizza, nachos, dark chocolate.

Music: I like a lot of music. No one is going to read a long list so suffice to say that my main areas of interest are classical music, especially piano, and rock music.

Movies: I like scary movies and pyschological thrillers. I also like epic movies and comedies. Also movies that are really bad. But they have to be really bad.

TV: funny shows (always sunny, 30 rock); reality shows (not into any right now but tell me a good one and we can watch it together)
