My self-summary
I'm shy and I really do have a hard time talking about myself. I can in ways, I wont in others. I'm not looking for love, and I'm not waiting for love. What happens happens. I understand that things wont happen unless you do something, but sometimes doing too much just f's things up. I'm very much a happy median kinda guy. I'm also very casual and laid back, but I sound a lot more serious than I am. I love to make jokes :D

When i'm not busy being shy for some stupid reason, I love to chat. I can't help being shy its who I am, but I'm willing to be the one to take the lead if need be. Don't misunderstand this though, I'm terrible at it.
I like to read, I'm a dork, I'm not ripped, I'm content with who I am and believe in karma. and i'll always be changing this page because character development doesn't just happen in books or movies.

I also somehow keep forgetting to mention what A nerd I am. How typical eh? Shy and nerdy? No way, that's unheard of! I like anime, i'm a big Dr Who fan, I like a lot of nerdy things. A lot of people call it childish and frown upon and make fun of it, but I'm pretty sure making fun of people for being nerdy is a lot more immature than just accepting that those things are their personal tastes in life.

I am me, myself, and I
What I’m doing with my life
Currently working at a regional hospital, just trying to make some cash before I start taking classes to become an EMT. I'm not really driven to do anything, So I like to try many different things.
Update:The EMT thing ended up being a bust, no jobs in a 2 hour drive-time radius, trying bill and coding now, seems interesting :3 Also taking a cooking class, fun and delish.
I’m really good at
Being supportive and understanding. I'm a great listener, I'm a smooth talker. I usually know what to say, when to say it, how to say it and what tone to say to get myself out of (or into) trouble. I just dont know how to start. I'm also pretty good at devouring books alive and finishing most games within a short time. Yeah i'm a gamer, I read. I like math. Dork alert. I'm also a smartass as you'll discover shortly. I like being a smartass, it is something I'm quite skilled at.

I'm also a really good friend. If you ever need a shoulder to cry on, a guy for support, or someone to just vent to after a hard day, I'm that guy. I'll listen, whether I know you or not.
The first things people usually notice about me
My quiet persona. I'm a very soft speaker. I'd rather someone have to sit near me to listen and understand what I'm saying, than have a conversation with someone across the room. The second thing people notice, after they established and revealed to me that I'm quite, is that my name is spelled funny. Mikael, not Michael or Micheal. Its not pronounced Mik-hael or Mikel, its said how looks. Mikael. And I'm proud of it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Name a book, I've read it. I enjoy books. I love books. I love owning and reading books. Call me a loser, but I love the fact that I have a copy of Macbeth and Mary Shelly's Frankenstein that are around 50 years old. Movies are pretty random, anywhere from crappy, horribly dubbed kung fu movies, to pop culture action/comedy. Rent The Breakfast Club. Music, anything from Globus to ICP, trans Siberian to sum 41, acdc to folk n' hell, and anything but country. God I hate my southern drawl. Thank god for my Scottish background, that usually overpowers it. Food, love it, what's not to.

I'm currently watching a lot of Dead like me and Pushing Daisies. Two very good shows :3 Also at lot of the older Doctor Who movies, like The Ark in Space. Cheesy, but lovable

Also. I will not watch HSM unless its with someone i know and/or care about. You want to know why, further details you say? Send a message and find out
The six things I could never do without
I believe in living without. Does that mean I don't want a new phone, hell no. But the only six things I could never live without are stereotypical answers, so I'll make it interesting. Well, as interesting as a sleep deprived brain can.

I could never live without:
1.) Condoms. What else would I make water balloons out of?
2.) Measuring tape. Discovering the length of random things since 1876
3.) Chalk. Need some way to play tick-tack-toe on the sidewalk
4.) Quarters. Toll's suck
5.) The word 'disambiguation.' How else would we mess up a Search Engine?
6.) Painkillers. I was born with bificated kneecaps which makes walking rather painful.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Whatever crosses my mind. I'm pretty random, jumping from thought to though, and often have to think back on what I was thinking about, to tell someone what I was thinking about 5 seconds ago.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either working or trying to get out of the house. Usually working. Save me!. Or texting. I'm always texting. I'm halfway on this site just looking for someone to text with me into the endless hours of the night. I do not sleep well
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have issues. We all do. Some might argue "Hey that's not personal at all!" but frankly, how many people actually admit they have problems. There's a reason why addicts fail the 12 step, and there's a reason why Step 1 of the 12 step is admitting you have a problem. Most people cant even get over that first hill.

I also will admit. I'm sensitive. I cry. A true understanding of this is, I'm not afraid to put myself in someone else's shoe's in a movie or show, and realize..."Holy shit...that fucking sucks." and then cry my eyes out.
I’m looking for
  • Everybody
  • Ages 18–26
  • Near me
  • For new friends
You should message me if
"You should message me if..." If what? If you think I'm interesting? Well that's kinda self explanatory...Unless they're expecting me to say "...if you're into running into wall's with a helmet on" because then you should totally message me, that's my kinky fetish...

You should message me if you think i'm a smartass.

...
And my responce to those who dont like smartass' is, "I'd much rather be a smartass than a dumbass"

Also message me if:
You like to overuse commas and the return key
You like to take jokes so far they beg to be killed
You are witty and have a sense of sarcasm, and can be sarcastically sarcastic
You have quirks that are strange and odd(Aka you're actually interesting)
