i love british things in an absolutely cliche way. so, pride and
prejudice, great expectations, the beatles, mumford, downton abbey,
v for vendetta etc. always had a leg up in my book. ooh also bbc's
poirot and coupling. finally watched sherlock and started watching
the doctor.. have made my point. still quite the cliche.
i listen to and enjoy all types of music, but i usually resort to
pandora. i like indie dance, mumford, flo, and sometimes the
singer/songwriter stations there.
Current favorite songs, now on repeat: little talks, ho hey,
breezeblocks, this head I hold, winter winds, the first single,
stubborn love.
i have a thing for detectives. my favorites are sherlock, hercule
poirot, and nick and nora charles. i'll settle for today's
whodunits. i do catch castle, law and order, and criminal minds if
i ever channel surf.
shows i watchish now: once upon a time, new girl, south park,
modern family, grey's anatomy, glee - go ahead judge away.
former loves: avatar, friends, boy meets world, house, psych,
community, big bang theory, hey arnold, jimmy neutron, downton
abbey.
some of my other favorite books: ender's game, the book thief, the
giver, kite runner, huck finn, diary, catcher in the rye, the help,
davinci code, crime and punishment, memoirs of a geisha, one
hundred years of solitude... the list goes on. i like the hunger
games and harry potter in a
guilty-pleasure/scratch-that-nostalgia-itch sort of way. before
school started i was reading a song of ice and fire. i'll pick it
back up one day i hope. in the meantime, game of thrones is really
well done.
movies: shawshank redemption, gone with the wind, good will
hunting, pretty woman, breakfast club, breakfast at tiffany's,
overboard, pay it forward, the prestige, le matrix, donnie darko,
mean girls, how to train your dragon, kickass, easy a, the
englishman who went up a hill and came down a mountain, ever after,
and almost every movie i watched as a kid.
i love chocolate and cheese and carbs and milk.
there's plenty more i'm sure.
