My Self-Summary

Hey there!

I'm from San Francisco, California and am moving to Dublin in 2010 to start my MBA at Trinity (hurray!!!). I won't know very many people there, seeing as I'm moving to an entirely different continent, but I'm really looking forward to it. I love to meet new fiends, and would love to date as well, so come say "Hi."

I love stimulating conversation & debate, as well as intense physically activity. I am caring and extremely honest; I don't believe in lying. I have an open mind, and like to share and hear what myself and others think. I consider myself a caring person and I can be both aggressive and a pacifist at times depending on which would be best for the situation.

I try to live my life based on a personal code based on personal experience, and I always strive to do my very best. That doesn't mean that an individual should constantly be working themselves to the bone. Basically people just need to realize one thing: Is it that they can't, or that they won't?

I'm exceptionally passionate; however, I do think I've relaxed quite a bit from my days at college. I mean, after all, I am on a dating site looking for new people and experiences. I've worked quite hard off my entire life, and I don't want to be one of those guys that burns out and regrets not utilizing their youth.

I wear my heart on my sleeve and am unbelievably affectionate and loving. I think that my excitement and intensity can be a little much at first for people. Most people aren't used to first meetings and introductions where they receive a warm hug, and a really detailed and energetic conversation and/or e-mail. So don't let me enthusiasm for life dissuade you. ;-)

I go dancing several nights a week. I love to read. I love to cook, I make magic when I enter a kitchen. I love to go play sports. I believe in trying almost anything once. The only exception to this was when I wouldn't try Fish Eye stew when I was in Japan, but were there again I'd make sure to conquer that fear.

Anyone who has one person in mind is eliminating the possibility or finding out something about themselves they didn't know, so I'm opened to all creeds of individuals; however, I can tell you that I at least have an idea of what I know I like. I'd like to meet some very nerdy and intelligent (I'm very attracted to nerdy women), athletically fit like myself or at least maintaining a healthy and trim/skinny body (very important to me), loving, honest, blunt or shy, and most importantly, affectionate. I love to cuddle and hold hands. I'm the type of guy that adores the 3am text and/or phone call that states: "I miss you," as well as spontaneously waking up in the middle of the night just to cuddle. Physically expression, as well as verbal, is part of who I am. Communication in a relationship is exceptionally important, so I make sure to always communicate my feelings, and I'd want someone that feels the same way, or at least tries to.

What I’m doing with my life

I am a graduate in Political Science from UC Berkeley, in California USA. I am moving to Dublin to go to Trinity College, Dublin with aspirations to eventually attain my MBA/JD.

I have lived in Japan, in the Gifu prefecture in Gujo Hatchiman, and also in Hitnau, Switzerland. I miss both those places very much, for I was there only a short while working as a student ambassador. I love to travel, and any chance I receive I would go to a different country to experience its vibrant culture. I am very proud of who I am, and who I want to be, but have a lot of growing and learning to do. I would not change a single thing about myself, only the surroundings that accompanied me in my journey to the present.

I'm basically just riding the wave of life currently, and trying to live, mature, and find out truly what I want & what makes me happy.

I’m really good at

Who knows? It's all subjective anyways. I tend to be pretty good at things, at least I think, and if I'm not I work hard to get there. People usually are good at what they enjoy, and I try to enjoy life; however, does that mean I'm good at life?

I love to sing as well as engage in most musical endeavors. I'm really into active and athletically themed activities. Running, Frisbee, Dancing, etc. I believe in staying active and taking care of your body.

I heartily enjoy being cuddly or giving massages. I took some classes on reflexology (the relationship between the feet and the body via massaging) and I seam to really have a natural knack for that. I'm fascinated about the relationship between the body and mind. An individuals reaction to physical touch is especially interesting; how what is so reactionary to some provides a completely different response to others. I like to experiment with different oils and techniques. Plus, it's good exercise and allows me to use my hands, which I personally find therapeutic and a welcomed stress reliever.

I have been employed as a public speaker a couple times and given massive speeches in front of thousands of people. I enjoy doing so, quite a bit actually. I enjoy attention I guess.

The first things people usually notice about me

My Eyes. It's just a biological coincidence in dealing with pigment and DNA, but I'm glad despite. I have blue with gold eyes. I've never, nor has my optometrist, met anyone that had gold in there eyes besides myself. I try not to be proud of something that is just a matter of genes where I have no control over it, but I find myself slightly proud despite.

Plus, they notice that I'm a dork. Albeit a muscular and sexy dork, but nonetheless a dork and or nerd. Proud of it too!

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Book: Anything by Ayn Rand. Anne Rice, Shadow Dawn trilogy, Susan Kay, Hideyuki Kikuchi, I love reading.

Movies: I love musicals, anime and independent films. American History X, American Beauty, Samurai X, Elfen Lied, Moulin Rouge, Fight Club. etc.

Foods: All food, I love to cook! Allergic to Onions though, but I love garlic. Life is weird, no?

Salvador Dali is my favorite painter, Tim Burton is my Favorite Director, and Frank Wildhorn is my favorite Composer. What I enjoy most about them is that they are the best at what they do, and they do it most differently from everyone else.

The six things I could never do without

Affection, Nourishment, Communication, Stimulation, Growth, & Individuality.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Everything! "I think therefore I am." Famous paraphrased words from a really crazy, but brilliant, bastard. [René Descartes - Like, really crazy!]

I am, or at least used to be, a writer, (non-fiction, in dealing with balance of power and International Relations) so I think about what policies could be enacted to make the world a better place. I daydream about the future a lot.

On a typical Friday night I am

Dancing, playing poker, playing a sport, glad to be alive...

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

In college I once wrote a Quantitative Essay arguing why a particular girl should go out with me. I included pie charts, graphs, equations, etc.. I even had my English professor proofread it for proper grammatical layout. That was actually a work of art, if you don't mind me saying so, I had a list of characteristics, a mathematical percentage of guaranteed love & affection, attraction profiles, proportional overlaps, a rough draft sketch of what future lifestyle may evolve into, etc.. I unfortunately never received a response lol.

You should message me if

A) If you want to go dancing!

B) If you like cooking & experimenting with recipes. If you're not romantically inclined towards my rough albeit devilishly good looks, but you love cooking, you should still get to know me. I'm looking for more friends who likes to cook.

C) You are an individual that is is intelligent, motivated, attractive, passionate and intense, be it what ever relationship they would want, I look for those traits in all people. I am looking for a girl I can start a relationship with, but if John Galt had to wait 10 years to find his Dagney, I can afford to have patience (extra points if you get this reference). An individual that has one specific person in mind is setting themselves up for a surprise and limiting themselves to an subjective perspective. I do consider myself an attractive person and I want to be with someone who considers themselves the same, in body and mind.

D) If you want to. Don't wait for guys to message you, take initiative!
