So I'm about to turn 30, I'm not really sure how I'm going to react
to that...but so far its been a breeze. I still feel like I'm
young, though I'll talk to someone who is lets say, 18, and I
realize that I no longer really fit that group anymore. I'm an
extremely loyal person. What I mean by that is once you have become
a friend, you're now more of a family member than anything. I'd do
anything for the people that are close to me and I'd hope they in
turn would do the same. I love to discover new music, mostly by
going to see the band play live if possible, but I still fall back
on most of my favorites that never fail me. (I'll add on more to
this later when it isn't in the A.M. hours)
After obtaining my BA in
Anthropology from the University of
New Orleans
and then getting a certificate in
Museum Studies from California
State University: East Bay, I moved back to Louisiana. The
backwoods thoughts and lifestyle that I grew up around is now
something I can no longer stand and I've returned once more to the
Bay. I'm currently the store manager of a local video game shop and
I'm planning on returning to school for a MA sometime soon in the
future.
Making friends with pretty much anyone. I have a great ability to
talk with almost anyone I come across and be able to have them like
me just off of our conversation. I'm good at sticking by my opinion
even if I'm the only one that has that viewpoint. I'm pretty good
at being
sarcastic, being kind of dorky and
everything else that comes with that title. I'm also excellent at
making fun of my roomies -
Ceramic1982 and
PennyNickledime - they both take it
like champs.
The first thing most people notice about me is that I have salt and
pepper colored hair. My hair has been like this since I was a
teenager and most people are amazed to discover that I have it. At
first I didn't like my hair like this, though over time I great to
not care if anyone thought it odd. And in fact, that proved to be
the best, because most people tell me they actually like it.

love Indian, Thai, Chinese, Japanese, African, German, Italian,
French and pretty much anything that is fromsouth of the US border.
Internet, friends, laughter, sleep and the ability to think for
myself. Ok thats not 6 if you were actually counting, but whatever.
I spend a lot of time thinking about how people can be so stupid
sometimes. How I have mad procrastination skills. How I can't stand
the one sided views of so many of the so called leaders of my
country. How people can be so blindly patriotic that they miss out
on so much more. How people hate what they don't understand or
whats different from them. I also spend a lot of time trying to
figure out why Californians refer to the interstate as a freeway
when it has the word "Interstate" right in the title. The "I" in
I-80/I-880 does not stand for "freeway" people, come on!
Hanging out with friends playing video games, watching movies,
having a few drinks and laughing away the night.
I miss the rain. It rains all the time back in Louisiana and almost
never in the Bay. I miss the sound, I miss the feel, I miss the
smell.
Anything in my profile interested you, made you laugh or you're
just curious to know more. You want to start a fan club regarding
just how awesome I am...or perhaps you want me to run the fan club
that discusses just how great you are...whichever, I'm fairly open
here.
