I was thinking I needed join the rest of the world and see what the internet can do to improve my life. What am I looking for? Well, if I had to explain it in a few simple words, if I had to give you a visual, I would say that I like someone who looks something like Shania Twain - reasonable height, medium to longish hair (dark is nice), etc. I guess I am going to have to do a little better with my description, be a little more verbal and a little less visual. Let’s see what I can come up with (keep in mind that I am doing this blind - I have not looked at any other profiles so don't hold it against me if I am completely off base. I learn fast....I assure you):

I am:

White, 51 years old (my how time flies!!), 6 feet, 1 inch – 215 pounds (I guess that makes me somewhere around the description "average build"), Has hair - almost all of it – and in a natural shade of brown too! Non-smoker, occasional social drinker and anti-drug (not even 420 friendly). Not a couch potato, not always on the go. Open minded – enjoys good conversation (Politics, current events, history, sex, sports, and even some American Idol too). Spiritual but not religious. Enjoys diverse range of music including rock, country, classical, blues and even some Latin music. Reads novels (suspense, legal, or mysteries mostly) – even trying to write a novel of my own (no, not the "Great American Novel", just one that hopefully will interest a few million readers or so. :) ) Desirous of a relationship full of....well, whatever can we come up with that will make us both happy

She is:

White, Hispanic/Latin, Native American. At least 30, but more likely at least 38 and up to....well, we shall see I guess. Not anorexic but also not BBW – I guess that leaves everything inbetween (I am great at stating the obvious, aren't I????). Above 5 feet– below 10 feet tall. Has hair – preferably in something close to a natural shade (and even though I mentioned dark hair above, I am open to most all natural (or natural looking) shades!). A non smoker, a social drinker, and definitely a non drug user. Open minded, willing to discuss and debate on various topics (not just the weather or reality shows). Spiritual or religious OK, but please not a “I was born again so you must be saved too” person. Enjoys music – preferably rock or country, but I am open to new things so..... surprise me! Reads - more than the horoscope and the ads on the side of buses, less than “all classic, all the time”. Open to most anything relationship-wise - willing to let chemistry decide what happens (and if it becomes a LTR – GREAT!)

So in a nutshell, that is my story. As with everyone, there is more to me than just that. If you see anything that interests you, please drop me a line. If I can make a new friend, that would be great. if it turns into something deeper, even better! But we will never know unless we try. Right?
