My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm looking for a fellow explorer. A female Edmund Hillary to my Tenzing Norgay. Come with me to explore interesting restaurants in the Boston area and everything that New England (and maybe the world. We'll see how it goes) has to offer.

You must be interested in carrying on meaningful conversations about politics and current events. Sorry, but if you're a conservative, please move along.

I am not against dating someone with children, but please have time for something else in your life. We don't need to spend every waking, non-working moment together, but I also don't want to be fighting a battle for your attention.

It wouldn't hurt if you were a geek girl. I'm a tremendous tech geek and it would be nice to share my love of technology with a like minded woman.

I know this is a tall order, but if you give me a chance, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am a computer programmer that works for a community college. My life used to be controlled by my career, but I have recently flipped that to the other way around.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening to people. I have an innate ability to listen to people and understand their problems.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I look far younger than I actually am.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I enjoy books in the fantasy/science fiction genre, as well as historical non-fiction. Some authors I like are Stephen R. Donaldson, Katherine Kurtz, Neal Stephenson, William Gibson.

I tend to enjoy comedies and historical dramas. Pretty much any comedy will do, as long as it's well done. My favorite historical movie is The Patriot.

I have a diverse taste in music ranging from alternative/punk to classic rock and classical. The only music that I really don't like is Country/Western. My favorite bands are Stellastarr*, The Police, Death Cab for Cutie, The Dropkick Murphys, and The Doors.

I like most all types of food, but my favorites are Italian and Chinese. I'm a pretty good cook and can whip up a mean lasagna or Chili.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I abhor this question which nearly all dating sites ask. There is nothing that I can't live without because I am an extremely adaptable person.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My quest to become the "All being, master of time, space and perception." This includes what I will do when I attain supreme being status, how I will improve the world using my supreme being powers, and subtle supreme being tricks for picking up girls.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Having dinner with my closest friends. It's become a regular thing and I'm sure you'd be more than welcome eventually.

You want what I want. When I was in college I liked this girl. I saw her at a party and asked her to dance. While we were dancing, she kissed me and my knees went weak. That's what I want. To meet someone who makes my knees go weak. If that's what you want, then message me.
