Your Notes
Edit your notesI am sarcastic, happy, and hungry.
My Self-Summary
I am a cancer on the cusp of gemini with a sagittarius rising.
Astrology amuses me.
Apparently whether or not I am indeed on the cusp of gemini is under debate.
Given the choice between a dance club and a dive bar, I'll choose the dive 9 times out of 10.
I love music but am not musically inclined whatsoever.
I'm a creative person.
My burnt out hippie english teacher in high school told me that I must have been a hippie in a past life because I like to think outside the box. To this day, I'm not sure how to take that remark.
I have a weakness for 90s dance and pop music.
I don't listen to the radio.
I won't die happy unless I get to see Kylie in concert. (Edit: I can die happy now.)
My friend once characterized me as a "lumberjack gay" because I find shaving to be annoying and I am a fan of plaid.
I have never had an interest in chopping down trees.
I'm really picky when it comes to food and men.
I daydream a lot.
My sense of humor is dry.
I have never tried moistening it.
I don't think it'd like that very much.
What I’m doing with my life
As far as long term plans... I suppose if my dream of winning the lottery and training to enter the US Open never pans out, I'll probably end up in grad school. I'm just not sure what to go for. I've changed my mind at least 4 times in the past 2 months. I suppose I'm in soul search mode. Wherever I end up, I'm just trying to enjoy the ride.
I’m really good at
Sleeping. My friend is convinced I could sleep through an earthquake, tsunami and tornado occurring simultaneously. Needless to say, I have issues with alarm clocks.
Karaoke. I'm not saying I'm a good singer, but I am good at entertaining people. Let's just say my song selection is creative.
Listening, giving advice and being a shoulder to cry on. Underneath my tough exterior, I'm mushy.
The first things people usually notice about me
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
BOOKS: I'm reading "Are You There Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea" by Chelsea Handler right now. Love funny people.
MOVIES: Rocky Horror Picture Show, Kill Bill Vol.1&2, Death Becomes Her, Hocus Pocus, The Princess Bride, Spaceballs, The Royal Tenenbaums, Wall-E, Beetlejuice, and a bunch of other stuff I can't be arsed to type right now.
MUSIC: Tori Amos, PJ Harvey, Rasputina, Goldfrapp, Kylie Minogue, Dresden Dolls, Amanda Palmer, The Knife, Garbage, Róisín Murphy, Moloko, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Robyn, Röyksopp, Lady Gaga, Rilo Kiley, Marilyn Manson, Annie Lennox, Peaches, Marianne Faithfull, Nightwish, Esthero, Fiona Apple, The Cardigans, The Cranberries, The Blow, Cher, Imogen Heap, Jill Sobule, Ben Folds, and Liz Phair just to name a few.
FOOD: If it's cheesy and bad for me, I will probably eat it.
The six things I could never do without
You Tube.
Oxygen. (Not the TV network.)
A sense of humor.
Motor skills.
Reruns of The Nanny and The Golden Girls.
