I like to think that I'm an upbeat person. Listening to and playing music is the most important thing in my life, and I really value my friends. I've been vegan for about 9 months.

What I’m doing with my life

I am a student at Wayne State University, majoring in music technology. I play the tuba in Wind Symphony there, and lately I've been keeping busy playing in other ensembles. I also play bass guitar in a Frank Zappa cover band. In the future I would like to be an engineer in a recording studio. I work at a music store in Ferndale.

I’m really good at

I like to think I'm really good at making ridiculous observations that people don't really understand (which I am totally okay with), and I really like to sing karaoke with my friends at the bar down the street.

The first things people usually notice about me

I have a really bizarre sense of humor (hence the screen name), so I think that a lot of people notice that about me.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books- Rant by Chuck Palahniuk, and basically anything by Kurt Vonnegut, George Orwell, and Hunter S. Thompson.

Movies- are Grindhouse, Sin City, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Children of Men, the Big Lebowski, and cheesy 80's sci-fi like Tron and Heavy Metal. I really like independent films, and pretty much any movie that makes me think.

Music- Frank Zappa, Zombi, Queens of the Stone Age, Primus, Mr. Bungle, Mastodon, The Beatles, Devo, Led Zeppelin, The Sword, Jeff Buckley, Jenny Lewis, Neil Young, Weezer, The White Stripes, Radiohead, Gogol Bordello, Talking Heads, Daft Punk, Battles, Don Caballero, and so much more. I'm pretty open minded when it comes to listening to music, I just don't listen to top 40 or modern country.

Food-Anything with fried tofu, breakfast food, hummus, and falafel.
